ASSAM BENGAL NAVIGATION is an Indo - British joint venture, with offices in India and UK. In 2003, ABN pioneered river cruising in India with their unique cruises on the River Brahmaputra in Assam; in 2007 they embarked on the lower Ganges river (Hooghly) with their 2nd cruise ship; in 2010 they were the forerunners in the upper Ganges and in 2014, it was a historic first as their 3rd cruise ship (ABN Rajmahal) sailed across the ghats of Varanasi to Chunar Fort. They were awarded the Indian National Tourism Award for Innovation in 2004-05. Experience counts for everything here, and their expertise in the field of river cruising on Indian waterways (Ganges and Brahmaputra rivers) is unrivaled.
