Every person has been wronged by someone else one time or another in his/her life, whether the person wronged him accidentally or intentionally. We’ve all heard the saying ‘forgive and forget’ and we’ve all heard that instead of holding a grudge and animosity, we should forgive someone who has done something wrong against you. But what if you feel that you are justified in your anger towards the person who wronged you? What if someone has hurt you so severely (emotionally or physically) that it is hard to justify forgiving them? It can be hard to follow the behavior of forgiving other people that Allah used to describe al-Muhsinun, the doers of good. The Shaytan will always be trying to make you think about the satisfaction you will get by getting revenge, and how you will seem weak if you forgive your opponent. We must always remember that, after the Prophet (SAW) liberated Makkah, he gave a general pardon to 10,000 Makkans, many of which who had persecuted his followers and tried to spread falsehood and lies about him and his teachings for the past 20 years. May Allah help us become forgiving people and guide us to the straight path. Ameen! The Student Council presents The Buzz! The Student Council encourages all students to be leaders. We believe all students should have the opportunity to have a say in what goes on around the school. We want all students to contribute by giving us ideas for more events or activities for the school. Ideas that we choose to do will be led by the student who came up with the idea, but the Student Council will be supervising and offering assistance. We also encourage students to contribute to the newsletter so we can have a variety of texts.

Jazak’Allahu Khairan,
