Dit kasteel werd gebouwd in de tweede helft van de 13e eeuw. De donjon (woontoren) is te beklimmen voor een mooi uitzicht. Bei der Ruine von Brederode sind die Überreste des Schlosses der Herren van Brederode zu besichtigen. Das Schloss stammt aus der zweiten Hälfte des 13. Jahrhunderts. Von der Spitze des Donjons (Wohnturms) aus hat man eine herrliche Aussicht. The Ruins of Brederode refer to the Castle of the lords of Brederode. It was founded in the second half of the 13th century. The donjon (residential tower) is worth climbing for a magnificent view. Über den Zeeweg und Heerenduinweg (Knotenpunkt 92) fahren Sie durch abwechslungsreiche Landschaften zum breiten Strand von IJmuiden aan Zee. Unterwegs ist eine reiche Fauna zu bewundern. Mit etwas Glück begegnen Sie einem Schottischer Hochländer. Aber Sie können sich natürlich auch an die Route halten. Via the Zeeweg and Heerenduinweg roads (intersection no. 92) you can cycle across various landscapes, heading towards the wide beach of IJmuiden aan Zee. Explore rich fauna. You might even encounter a Scottish Highlander. Or simply stick to the official route. IJmuiden aan Zee Bezoekerscentrum De Kennemerduinen, Zeeweg (richting knooppunt 18), is de toegang tot het Nationaal Park Zuid- Kennemerland. Het steeds verrassende duingebied, van landgoederen langs de buitenrand, via woeste duinen naar het Noordzeestrand, is het leefgebied van talloze bijzondere dieren en planten. 03 Met de Ruïne van Brederode worden
de resten aangeduid van het Kasteel
van de heren van Brederode. Dit kasteel
werd gebouwd in de tweede helft van de
13e eeuw. De donjon (woontoren) is te
beklimmen voor een mooi uitzicht.
Bei der Ruine von Brederode sind die
Überreste des Schlosses der Herren van
Brederode zu besichtigen. Das Schloss
stammt aus der zweiten Hälfte des 13.
Jahrhunderts. Von der Spitze des Donjons
(Wohnturms) aus hat man eine herrliche
Aussicht.

Castle of the lords of Brederode. It was
founded in the second half of the 13th
century. The donjon (residential tower) is
worth climbing for a magnifi cent view.

Via de Zeeweg en Heerenduinweg
(knooppunt 92) fi ets je door verschillende
landschappen naar het brede strand van
IJmuiden aan Zee.
Onderweg is een rijke fauna te zien. En
met een beetje geluk kom je een Schotse
Hooglander tegen. Maar je kunt natuurlijk
ook de route aanhouden.
Über den Zeeweg und Heerenduinweg
(Knotenpunkt 92) fahren Sie durch
abwechslungsreiche Landschaften zum
breiten Strand von IJmuiden aan Zee.
Unterwegs ist eine reiche Fauna zu
bewundern. Mit etwas Glück begegnen Sie
einem Schottischer Hochländer. Aber Sie
können sich natürlich auch an die Route
halten.

roads (intersection no. 92) you can cycle
across various landscapes, heading
towards the wide beach of IJmuiden aan
Zee. Explore rich fauna. You might even
encounter a Scottish Highlander. Or simply
stick to the offi cial route.

Bezoekerscentrum De Kennemerduinen,
Zeeweg (richting knooppunt 18), is de
toegang tot het Nationaal Park Zuid-
Kennemerland. Het steeds verrassende
duingebied, van landgoederen langs de
buitenrand, via woeste duinen naar het
Noordzeestrand, is het leefgebied van
talloze bijzondere dieren en planten.
Kennemerduinen visitors’ centre -
Zeeweg (towards intersection no. 18),
will take you to the Zuid-Kennemerland
National Park. The ever-surprising dune
area, from country estates along the
outskirts, through wuthering dunes and
towards the North Sea beach, is the habitat
of numerous animal and plant species.
Besucherzentrum De Kennemerduinen,
Zeeweg (Richtung Knotenpunkt 18),
ist der Zugang zum Nationalpark Zuid-
Kennemerland. Die von Landhäusern
umrandete, abwechslungsreiche
Dünenlandschaft führt durch wilde Dünen
zum Nordseestrand und ist Lebensraum
für zahllose seltene Tiere und Pfl anzen.
