Reactions 1378 - 19 Nov 2011 S Vorinostat Deep vein thrombosis, elevated creatinine and thrombocytopenia: case report A woman was diagnosed with patch mycosis fungoides in 2000 at 48 years of age. In 2007, she started oral vorinostat 400 mg daily as part of her ongoing chemotherapy. Three weeks later, her vorinostat dose was reduced to 300 mg daily, as her serum platelet count had decreased to 40 000 × 10 9 /L. Following the ninth month of treatment, vorinostat was withdrawn due to disease progression, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a serum platelet count of 30 000 × 10 9 /L and a creatinine level of 1.7mg/dL.
