Universal Music Group and the Harrison family are proud to announce that George Harrisons first six solo albums, released between 1968 and 1975 on The Beatles Apple Records label, have been digitally remastered from the original analogue masters, Wonderwall Music , Electronic Sound , All Things Must Pass , Living In The Material World , Dark Horse, and Extra Texture (Read All About It) available both individually in digipaks and together within the deluxe, eight disc boxed edition, The Apple Years 1968 75 .

Designed to complement Harrisons 2004 collection, The Dark Horse Years 1976 92 , the new box features an exclusive DVD with several video pieces, including a new seven minute film with previously unreleased footage. The Apple Years box also includes an exclusive perfect bound book with an introduction by Dhani Harrison, new essays by award winning radio producer and author Kevin Howlett, and rare and previously unpublished images.

This project has been overseen by George's son, Dhani Harrison: I am so happy that what we started a decade ago by releasing The Dark Horse Years is now complete with the release of his first six albums as The Apple Years . Some of these records have long been out of print, and so I cannot wait for music lovers to get their hands on these newly remastered versions. It's a very proud moment for us, and I would like to thank everyone who has helped us in any way to achieve this."

The six albums have been digitally restored and remastered at Lurssen Mastering in Los Angeles by a GRAMMY Award winning team of engineers including Paul Hicks, Gavin Lurssen, and Reuben Cohen. bands career, returned to Los Angeles for the first time during his solo career to play a sold out show at the El Rey Theater. Recorded lfor AXSTV and captured in pristine HD quality, the performance has been slated for release via Frontiers Records.

Los Angeles FM radio giant 100.3 The Sound aided in show promotion with morning show host Uncle Joe Benson offering ticketslisteners in limited supply, just 20 seats available to winning entrants. In just a few short hours of the shows announcement, tickets sout at an astounding fan appreciation price of just five dollars. With gratitude to fans that have supported DeYoung over the years, show was truly a gift of thanks to long time fans that havent seen him perform outside of Styx in Los Angeles, ever.

With doors slated to open at 8:00 pm, fans started to line the sidewalk on Wilshire Boulevard with tickets in hand hours beforehandThey were all buzzing about what songs the band might perform..not even their wildest expectations came close to what they wouget absolutely, positively blown away by.

The amazing stage set was designed by DeYoungs son. Through the black backdrop shone multiple gemlike circles that glowed from oside of the stage to the other like a blanket of stars with the colors of the rainbow. Neon like spots aimed both high and low rained dowan array of light that swept over the audience. Packed from the front of the stage to the back of the house, the inside of the El Rseemed more like a night at the Forum in 1985; just bigger than life and ready for broadcast.

Opening the show with The Grand Illusion, the band performed for an hour and a half, and saw DeYoung joyously and playfuinteracting with the crowd. On two occasions he was handed items from the audience that he shared with fans. One was a copy of Styx Paradise Theater album, on vinyl, and another was a fan made sign requesting a personal song favorite Desert Moon.

AXSTV brought in a 25+ foot boom arm and 8 cameras to capture the magic of the show and the house production offered simply most crisp and well perfected tone the band could create for a night that fans are going to cherish owning documentation of!

The definitive Primus line up Les Claypool , guitarist Larry LaLonde , and drummer Tim Alexander is back together and set to release their first fulllength studio set in nearly 20 years, Primus & the Chocolate Factory . "The idea was to combine the Frog Brigade and Primus, and do this record, says Claypool. I think like a good portion of the planet, we were all pretty put off by the remake of the 'Willy Wonka' movie the Tim Burton version. I really wanted to pay homage to a film [1971's 'Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory,' starring Gene Wilder] that was very important to me as a kid and very influential to me musically. So that's what we did. And as opposed to just going in and recording the songs and playing them the way they are in the film, we twisted them up a bittwisted them up a lot." The recording is about my early perception of the original Willy Wonka an d the Chocolate Factory film, says Claypool. The notion wasnt so much to go in and redo the soundtrack note for note as much as it was to utilize the classic elements of the music yet try to reflect some of the darker undertones of the Roald Dahl books

With the album drop scheduled for October 21, Primus plans to tour the Chocolate Factory beginning the very next day. On October 21, 2014, the Mark Lanegan Band will release a brand new fulllength, Phantom Radio , through Vagrant. Phantom Radio , produced by Alain Johannes, is Lanegans ninth release under his own name, his 20th if you include his collaborations, and close to his 50th if you include his guest appearances. Lanegan's chief compositional tool on Phantom Radio was his phone specifically an app called Funk Box. I didnt bother to hook up m909 and 808 this time, he says, because the app had em. Id write drum parts with it then add music with the synthesizer or the guitar. The album grew organically from these synthetic roots, taking in Marks ongoing love of Krautrock and also an 80s new wave show on Sirius satellite radio, his favored aural companion as he drives around Los Angeles. They have a few good shows but the 80s one in particular I like, he says. Thats the music that was happening when I started making music. And although the Trees drew on Nuggets psychedelia, 13th Floor Elevators and Love, we were actually listening to Echo And The Bunnymen, Rain Parade, the Gun Club. lot of British post punk. We loved that stuff. I just waited until I was in my late forti es before I started ripping it off.

Project overview: Together with Europe and Treat, Dalton was a force to be reckoned with in Sweden during the 80s. They enjoyedsuccessful touring, mainstream media coverage (including the teen heartthrob magazines), TV appearances and a string of radio hits. Even world stars and bonified hitmakers such as Bon Jovi and Michael Bolton provided original songs for their two albums.

The band, formed by exTreat drummer Mats Dahlberg and named after his nickname, went all in with the current trends in melodic hmetal. Their image was cutting edge with designer outfits and enough hair spray to challenge the average users yearly consumption. Blike so many of their peers, the band was killed by the dramatic shift in musical tastes in the early 90s.

I left the band because I wanted a harder edge while the rest of the guys wanted to go softer, Mats explains. He formed the short livband, Speedy Gonzales with world renowned guitarist Tommy Denander and Therion singer Thomas Vikstrm, but the project foldbefore it took off. The rest of the Dalton members continued with a replacement drummer, but shortly called it a day. Dalton was

behind in the pit stop, all out of gas.

25 years after their debut album The Race Is On, the original members came back with a vengeance and a reunion filmed for Thats how it started, Mats explains. A producer called me and asked if we would reunite and if they could film it for a documentary.thought it was a joke. So did I, Bosse laughs, but it was true and from the first rehearsal it was like time had stood still. It was

much fun!

Old hits were dusted off and the success at the premiere gig when opening for the Scorpions in Sweden in December 2012 wastriumph. That night back in December ignited the fuse, we all felt the same, says Bosse lets get the Dalton wheels in motion agaWe want to celebrate the legacy of the 80s rock scene by putting out a new album and take it on tour. Just like we did back in the days

Loaded with inspiration and dedication the band went through demos made for the never recorded third album along with some newwritten songs. They ended up with 11 excellent tracks crafted for an 80s melodic rock album in a contemporary suit. In good compawith magic minded producer Erik Mrtensson (Eclipse, W.E.T.) the band hit Blowout Studios in April.

The first taste of the new songs from the album was revealed at the Frontiers Rock Festival where the band premiered the track HYou in front of an ecstatic crowd. Dalton is fueled up and back on the race track, ready to go the race is on!
