Outline Load Utility
9.1 Metadata Update using Outline Load Utility
Using OutLineLoad utility the Metadata can be loaded to Hyperion Planning System. In SAC, theOutLineLoad Utility is getting used to load Account, Entity, Client, Segment related information aswell as updating the properties.
The OutLineLoad utility command should be performed from the Hyperion Server by going to thebelow said path from the command prompt.
D:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1\Planning\planning1
8.9.1.1 Metadata Load:
Run the below command for a Dry Run load for a particular Dimension Metadata:
OutlineLoad /A: SAC /U: admin /M /N /I: C :\< Folder path name>\/D : /L:c:/OutlineLogs/outlineLoad.log/X:c:/OutlineLogs/outlineLoad.exc
If the Dry Run is successful, please run the below command to load the metadata to HyperionPlanning for any Dimension.
OutlineLoad /A:SAC /U:admin /M /I:c:\\/D: /L:c:/OutlineLogs /outlineLoad.log/X:c:/OutlineLogs/outlineLoad.exc

10 Data Load
The following methodology used for Data load through Essbase Administration Services (EAS).
Logon to Essbase Administration Services (EAS),Expand Enterprises View -> Essbase servers -> JEDHFBPS01MS.Saudiacatering.local:1423 ->
Applications -> SAC -> Plan1Right click on Plan1 (db name), click on Load dataClick Find Data File button, select File System tab, select the file Location , select the file,Click OK , and again Click OK
The files (txt) are located in Application server, Path
C:\ Dataload\
Right click on db name, select Load data

11 Task List
11.1 Create Task List
To create Task List do the following steps
Step 1: Open the Manage Task List page (Administration Manage ->Task Lists)
Step 2: In the Task List folders area, click the folder in which to create the Task List
Step 3: Above the Task List area, click Create
Step 4: Enter the name of the task list to create, and click OK
Step 5: Perform the following tasks to define the task list
11.2 Adding Tasks to Task Lists
To add Tasks to Task Lists, do the following steps
Step 1: Select Administration Manage-> Task List, select a task list, and click Edit.

Step 2: Click Add Child
Step 3: For Task, enter a name for the task
Step 4: For Type, select the type of task:
Work flow starts the review process with a scenario and version that you specify
Step 5: For Instructions, enter information to help users understand how to complete the task
Step 6: Optional: To enter a due for the task, select Due Date and select
a. The month, day, and year.b. The hours, minutes, and AM or PM.
Step 7: Optional: To sent e-mail message if tasks are not completed, select Due Date
a. Select Repeat Every, and enter a number.b. Select the frequency for e-mail reminders.
Step 8: Optional: To sent e-mail messages after the alert date and before the due date, select Due Date:
a. Set the date and time to begin sending messages by selecting the month, day, year, hours,Minutes, and AM or PM.
b. In the Alert area, select Repeat Every and enter a number.c. Select the frequency for e-mail reminders.

Step 9: Optional: To make task completion dependent on completing a primary task, selectDependency.
Step 10: Save and Close.
11.3 Adding Instructions to Task Lists
Do the following steps
Step 1: Open the Manage Task List page (Administration Manage-> Task List)
Step 2: In the Task List Folders area, click the folder containing the task list to modify, and select thetask list.
Step 3: For Task List, select the task list to modify, and click Edit
Step 4: For Edit Task List, select Instruction.
Step 5: Click Save and Close
