Trained community health workers receive a monthly kit of medicines to treat most common childhood diseases at community level

The kit of medicine is provided to community health

workers. The kit includes antipyretics, malaria tests,

anti-malarials, antibiotics, oral rehydration salts , zinc

and other essential medicines.

Over 6,500 children in a district’s most remote communities will have access to essential prevention and curative services through the training of 18 paid community health workers per district
