7.1 Past Simple

De Past Simple met regelmatige werkwoorden:

Werkwoord + ed (stay stayed)

Let op:

arrange arranged (niet: arrangeed)

De Past Simple met onregelmatige werkwoorden:

Werkwoord heeft een eigen vorm! (run – ran)

Let op: deze werkwoorden moet je goed uit je hoofd leren!! Zie boek!

Vragende vorm:Did + hele werkwoord

Did I kick the ball in the goal?

Ontkennend: didn’t + hele werkwoord

He didn’t like hockey.

Examples!

7.2 Past Simple of to be

Ontkennend: Wasn’t / weren’t gebruiken He wasn’t at the hockey training because

he was at home.

Vorm: can / can’t / could / couldn’t

Wanneer gebruik je het? Can(‘t) = kan/kunnen

Vraag Could(n’t) = zou (niet) kunnen
