Analyse regeerakkoord Rutte-III: Effecten

op klimaat en energie (PBL 2017)

Het door het kabinet Rutte-III voorgestelde

emissiedoel van 49% reductie in 2030 past bij

de ambitie uit het Parijs-akkoord om de

temperatuurstijging te beperken tot ruim onder

de 2 graden. De geanalyseerde maatregelen

realiseren ruwweg de helft van de daarvoor

benodigde emissiereductie.

How it all started - Hanzehogeschool

2009

• Hanzehogeschool signs agreement energy reduction

• Goal: 2% energy reduction every year up to 2020

2016

• A meeting between Hanzehogeschool and The Green Quest

2017

• The Green Quest Program followed by at least 450 people

• What happens next?

6

The Green Quest Goals

• Zero use of natural gas

• Zero waste

• Every employee a role model

• Every student a Green Ambassador

7

9 Goals for energy reduction

1. Isolation of piping and valves

2. Isolation of the structural shell

3. Adjusting the installation settings

4. Replacing Gas-fired hot water installations by electric ones

5. Replacing gas cooking by electric cooking

6. Replacing air handling units

7. Safety lights are replaced by LED

8. Replace T8 and T5 luminaires by LED

9. Replacing gas-fired heat-installations by heat-pumps or geothermal energy

Encourage sustainable employability, inspired and facilitated by the

Hanze University. The effect of this then radiates back to it’s students.

Everybody wins.

Sustainability:

- Year of construction 1975/1995

(14.819 m2)

- CO2-controlled ventilation in the

exterior, thanks to demand-driven

operation, 40,000 m3 of gas is saved

every year and 4,000 kWh of electricity.

- Now, 93% of the employees feel

comfortable indoors compare to

22% before. For students, that

percentage is now 86%.

- Several central heating boilers, no

cooling (shell has recently been

isolated)

- In the long term, connect to Geothermic

energy

- Installing and insulating installations

(saving 78.9 GJ / year)

- Reduction energy -> TL lighting

replaced with LED (saving 352.6 GJ /

year)

Located on the Zernike Campus. In this

building the School for Social Studies and

the School of Business Administration

Studies are accommodated. Besides that, a

large part of the Facility Management

Department is located here.

The municipality intends to set up the area

as ART QUARTER.

In the Radesingel, music courses are being

given at this time, soon they will move to the

new building for the Prins Claus

sIn the coming years, the municipality of

Groningen, The University of Groningen and

Hanzehogeschool will reorganize the entire

Zernike Campus

Sustainability:

- Important stakeholders have looked

at opportunities to include

sustainability issues on the Campus.

This includes sustainability in reuse

materials, Cradle to Cradle and

sustainability integrated in road or

otherwise.

- The facilities of the Campus on

facilities and facilities are not

included here, only the way in which

infrastructure and accessibility are

arranged.
