Media WHERE ARE THEY?

Media WHERE ARE THEY?

Media WHAT ARE THEY DOING?

• YouTube: Watching vlogs, a lot.

• Facebook: Events & groups

• Instagram: Fashion, food, fitness, travelling, sneakfreaks

• Snapchat: Realtime reality & fun. Behind the scenes.

• Whatsapp: All day everyday. From homework to meeting up.

• Twitter: what is it?!

• E-mail: I read it, but I don’t anwser. Only if I have to.

TAKE AWAYS!

• Be real. Use real people, tell them how it is. • Be visual. Use images in your lessons/marketing/advising. • Be video. Let them learn via video. Show the real side of

studying through video. • Be digital. Let them whatsapp/Facebook you. Use groups.

(yes you can tell them when not to) • Be imperfect. Let youngsters know that choosing a study is

ONE step in their way to a job, not the only one. • Be future ready. Realize that some youngsters already are

entrepreneurs. Keep challenging them. Give them time to learn things in other ways.

• Be curious and ask for help, they really want to help you :-)
