  • Dear ב"ה 'חייש יםמחנכ

    יםהבא יםברוכ , Welcome!

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the tenth annual יםכינוס המחנכ .

The program content of this Kinus concentrates on a number of

important themes. They deal with chinuch issues from planning a lesson to its execution and get to the core of what chinuch is really

all about, the cultivation of a child’s נשמה. They will all take a teacher from theory to practical application and lesson planning.

Many hours of planning and a great deal of effort have gone into the

preparation of this כינוס לשם שמים, and thanks are due to all those who gave so much of themselves to make this event possible.

To my son, Rabbi Baruch Kaplan, and my executive assistant, Mrs. Rivkah Cohen, thank you on behalf of all the conferees. It is their

hard work which makes this conference possible.

To the conference committee members, who are listed on a separate page, thank you for your wise counsel, and generous contribution of ideas, advice, time and effort.

Many years ago it was my זכות to receive the following note from the

    :regarding another conference רבי זי"ע

"...ובכלל ידוע השקפתי )ע"פ מאמרז"ל: דהמעשה הוא העיקר( לשנות בסגנון הלימודים ידים קיום מצוות מעשיות בפרט ומעשים טובים בכלל... כולל שקידה בת"ת בתלמ שיוחקקו

    בפועל.. אזכעה"צ"

(FREE TRANSLATION): "…in general my view is known, (based upon the injunction of our sages, that it is "deed" which is of the greatest importance), we must teach children in a manner which ultimately inculcates within them the practice of Mitzvos in particular, and good deeds in general…"

May we be זוכה to receive his ברכות and inspiration, so that our

conference and its follow-up live up to his expectations of us.

Clearly, there will be many constructive comments and general feedback which conferees will wish to share with us. In the accompanying folder, there are a number of forms which solicit your

written comments about the program. Please make use of the forms and be sure to send your completed form to our office. May we all be

משיח צדקינו with ארץ ישראל to march from here directly to זוכה

    .ומלכינו בראשינו

    Sincerely, Rabbi Nochem Kaplan
