    Dear Mr/Mrs,

We are two master students Educational Sciences from Ghent University

and we are staying at Beijing Normal University for a collaborative

research based internship between the former two universities. We would

like to research which challenges novice primary teachers face during the

first five years of their employment. Therefore we would like to let

beginning primary teachers fill in a questionnaire about their experiences

in the classroom and the school environment.

These questions are based on the literature about challenges young

teachers face. Afterwards a comparison between Chinese and Flemish

    primary teachers will be made.

This questionnaire will take about5 minutes and contains 43 multiple

    choice questions.

All the questionnaires will be processed anonymous.

We would like to thank you for your participation, if you have any further

    questions, please let us know.

    Kind regards,

Fauve De Backer & Lisa Dewulf in collaboration with Prof. Cai YongHong.
