ConclusiesConclusies
1. Optreden van terminaal nierfalen is een groeiend probleem
2. Screening op alleen eGFR geeft een matige risico stratificatie
3. Screening op albuminurie:
- identificeert de patiënten met hoge kans op nierfunctie achteruitgang en op het optreden van cardiovasculaire events
- maakt vroege interventie mogelijk
- screening gevolgd door behandeling lijkt kosten-effectief
4. Het effect van bloeddrukverlagende behandeling lijkt afhankelijk van albuminurie status voor start behandeling
5. In de toekomst moeten we renoprotectieve behandeling wellicht gaan titreren op afname in albuminurie i.p.v. op afname bloeddruk
