Greetings to you,I hope the Mighty God bless you, your family and your people.Sir, I am the agricultural engineer Maher Hussein Mohammad Smadi, from

Jordan. I have worked in the Jordanian Ministry ofAgriculture as a director and thenas a counsellor for general secretary of the ministry until 25 th March 2010. I retiredand became the chiefof the professional union complex in the governorate ofAjlounin Jordan.

Dear Sir,My son Hosam was accused of using massive destructive weapon in Dallas

/Texas on 24th September 2009.When he was only 19 years old, Before this date, 8 months ago in February

2009, my son was set up by the F.B.! agents in Dallas through internet chatting. Itseems that my teenager son has shown some extreme attitudes through this chatting.He was communicating with those FBI agents who charged him with terrible extremereligious thoughts. H o s ~ m my son was wrongly guided by one of those agents whowas Egyptian and called himselfHussein. In April 2009 Hosam met this FBI agent,Hussein in one of the hotels in Dallas who pretended to my son as one ofAI Qa'edaand he was directly in contact with the criminal Osama bin laden. He assured Hosamthat he had instructions from bin laden to be transferred to Hosam. For Hosam's badluck while my teenager was far away from me and his family, carrying all his sadnessbecause ofhis mother's death, he was wrongly guided.

The FBI agent Hussein and my son Hosam planned to have a terroristoperation in Dallas. Both prepared a car with fake explosives and the FBI agent,Hussein brought every thing for this operation and convinced Hosam, my son thatthey were following bin laden's instructions and he offered my son also 40 dollars.The empty minded son ofme took the c ~ and parked it under a skyscraper in Dallas.Then he was immediately arrested with0ut being aware ofwhat was really going on.

He was brain-washed. Hosam was terribly beaten on his head by the feet of theagents who arrested him.

The ministry ofAmerican justice delivered a statement on the same day Hosamwas arrested that Hosam AI-Smadi was working alone and he had no relation withAI-Qa'eda. They added that Hosam's real relation was with FBI agents who werepretending as Al-Qa'eda members.

Mr. President,Those FBI agents could have guidedmy son when he was chatting on the

internet on the right track because he was a teenager or at least, they could havedeparted him to his country.

But it seems that those FBI agents in Dallas had a desire to stir up some eventsin order to get a promotion. They guidedHosam wrongly using his simplicity andbeing very naive and unaware ofwhat is going on around him. My son Hosam toldme that he was brain washed and used by an FBI agent who is Egyptian. This agentspecifically was threatening Hosam that Bin Laden's followers will kill Hosam ifhedoes not carry out what is he asked to do.

Mr. President,As a family living in Ajloun in the north of Jordan, we have no extremes; on

the contrary, we are living beside each others Muslims and Christians having allkinds of forgiveness and loving each other, caring about each other as friends or asrelatives. My four children Hosam, Hussein, Reem and Rama studied in the Baptistschool since K.G1. Most of their friends are Christians.

Mr. President,On the 27th ofMay 2010, my son Hosam was convinced by the defense staffto

admit being guilty in the presence of the judge. He was told ifhe did not confess theguilt, he would spend life sentence in prison. So, Hosam admitted being guiltywithout being aware of the consequences of this confession.

Mr. President,This is the story ofmy teenager son Hosam with the FBI agents and how he

was set up and deceived by them instead ofbeing guided to do good things for his

second country America. He was taken to the wrung and fatal track as being far awayfrom his people and family.

Sir,As a family ofHosam. Vie have no relation with tenorism or telToosts. We

condemned all shapes of terrorism we are all ready to help the government of theUSA to fight against tenorism and terrorists.

Sir,My family and T, send all watm regards, to your Excellency and all >!our family

and to all Americans. We call you for justice and to interfere for giving the rights toits people. As a country of democracy and justice, we call you for having a fairinvestigation in HosaIll 's case. \Ve think that Hosam's case from the very beginningup to the end was fabricated and the naIve Hosam was the victim.
