This document describes the process for displaying recruiting activities. These activities are linked to a specific application from a specificapplicant. Procedural Steps

1.1. Access transaction by:

Via Menus Human Resources/Personnel Management/Recruitment followed by Applicant Activity/Display (menu) or Display Activities (button)

Via Transaction Code PB50

1.2. On screen “Display Applicant Activities”, enter the applicant number in the applicant 

number field as specified in the table below:

1.3 Select “Execute F8” (icon = green check with clock) or “Edit/Execute” menu or F8 to beginthe transaction.

1.4 If the applicant has applied for more than one vacancy, there will be more than oneapplication record in the system. If so, the “Display Applicant Activities” screen will now include a list of those multiple applications in a section labeled “Choose application.” Select one of the following actions:

1.4.1 If a “Choose application” list appears, double-click on the application to bedisplayed and proceed to the next step.

1.4.2 If no “Choose application” list appears, this step does not apply. Proceed to thenext step.

1.5 The “Display Applicant Activities” screen will now display two sections labeled “Complete activities” and “Planned activities”. Select a planned or completed activity tobe displayed by clicking once on the square gray button to the left of the activity text.

1.6 Select one of the following options from the Button Menu at top of screen:

1.6.1 Display Note : This option displays any notes created by end-users regarding thisspecific application and activity. No changes are allowed to the notes while in“Display” mode.

1.6.1.1 To display any attached notes, select “Display note (F9)” button (icon = yellow caption bubble with eyeglasses) or depress the “F9” key.

1.6.1.2 After viewing the note, select “Back (F3)” (icon = green arrow) or “Exit (Shift +F3)” (icon = yellow arrow) or “Cancel (F12)” (icon = red X) to return to the

 previous screen.

1.6.2 Display Reference : This option identifies any reference activity linked to this activity.Not all activities have a linked reference activity. No changes are allowed to thereference while in “Display” mode.

1.6.2.1 To see if the activity selected in step 1.5 has any links to a reference activity,select the “Display Reference (Shift + F5)” button (icon = eyeglasses with“Reference”) or depress the “Shift + F5” keys.

1.6.2.2 If the activity selected in step 1.5 has been linked to a reference activity, thelinked reference activity will now appear in blue text on the “Display Applicant 

 Activity” screen. To display further information on this reference relationship,reselect the activity selected in step 1.5, and then select the “Display Activity” option (see below).

1.6.3 Display Letter : This option displays any letter attached to this activity. No changesare allowed to the letter while in “Display” mode.

1.6.3.1 To display any attached letters, select “Display Letter (Shift +F6)” button (icon= eyeglasses with “Letter”) or depress the “Shift + F6” keys.

1.6.3.2 After viewing the letter, select “Back (F3)” (icon = green arrow) or “Exit (Shift +F3)” (icon = yellow arrow) or “Cancel (F12)” (icon = red X) to return to the“Display Applicant Activities” screen.

1.6.4 Display Activity : This option displays the data entered by end-users regarding this

specific application and activity. No changes are allowed to the data while in“Display” mode.

1.6.4.1 To display the planned or completed activity, select “Display Activity (F2)” button (icon = eyeglasses with “Activity”) or depress the “F2” key.

1.6.4.2 The partial window screen “Planned (or) Completed Action Display” will appear.

1.6.4.3 Refer to the tables below for information on the data displayed and the optionsavailable on the “Planned (or) Completed Action Display” screen.

1.6.4.4 After viewing the displayed activity, select “Cancel (F12)” (icon = red X) toreturn to the “Display Applicant Activities” screen.

1.7 The transaction is completed.

1.8 To display additional activities for the same applicant AND application:

1.8.1 Remain at the “Display Applicant Activities” screen.

1.8.2 Repeat steps 1.5 through 1.7.

1.9 To display activities for a different application or applicant:

1.9.1 Select “Back (F3)” (icon = green arrow icon) or “Exit (Shift + F3)” (icon = yellow arrow)or “Cancel (F12)” (icon = red X) to return to the initial screen.

1.9.2 Repeat steps 1.2 through 1.7.

1.10 To exit the transaction completely, select “Exit (Shift+F3)” (icon = yellow arrow) repeatedly until the initial R/3 screen is displayed.
