DEU Die abgerundete Form des Grund-
risses ist bei der Herstellung die besondere
Herausforderung. Ein umlaufendes Alumi-
niumprofil führt die Schieber und schützt
gleichzeitig die Kanten. Um das reibungs-
lose Bedienen zu gewährleisten, muss das
Profil gleichmässig gebogen sein. Diese
Aufgabe löst eine eigens entwickelte Alu-
miniumprofil-Biegemaschine.
ENG The rounded shape of the layout
is a particular challenge in the production
process. A round aluminium profile guides
the slides and protects the edges at the
same time. In order to ensure smooth op-
eration, the profile must be evenly curved.
This challenging task is solved by a specially
developed aluminium profile bending ma-
chine.
FRA La forme arrondie unique en son
genre présente un défi particulier pour le
processus de production. Le profilé en alu-
minium conduit les portes coulissantes et
protège le bord. Pour garantir un usage
sans frottement, le profilé doit être plié en
conséquence. Cette tâche délicate est
prise en charge par une machine spéciale
de pliage du profilé.
DEU Benny Mosimanns erster Entwurf
für den Ellipsetower geht auf einen Wett-
bewerb im Jahre 1994 zurück. Im Laufe
der Zeit hat er daraus eine ganze Produkt-
familie entwickelt, die sich im Prinzip treu
bleibt, jedoch zum Spiel zwischen Zeigen
und Verbergen einlädt.
ENG Benny Mosimann›s first design for
the Ellipsetower goes back to a competi-
tion in the year 1994. In the course of time,
he has developed a whole product family
that remains faithful in principle but invites
to play between showing and concealing
elements.

compétition en l’année 1994. Au fil du
temps, il a développé toute une famille
de produits qui reste fidèle au principe
mais qui vous invite au jeu des éléments
ouverts ou fermés.
Harmonie und Leichtigkeit. Ausgewogen in den Proportionen und geschmeidig im Gebrauch. Allen Produkten gemeinsam sind die abgerundete Form und die umlaufenden Schiebetüren. Sie variieren jedoch in den Abmessungen und Anwendungen und überzeugen in schwarz und weiss.
Their pronounced characteristic is harmonious lightness: They are balanced in proportions and smooth in use. Common to all products of this line are the distinctive rounded shape and the sliding doors. They vary in dimensions and applications and convince in black and white.
