The combination of audio and web conferences is the perfect solution to enable teamwork that transcendspeople’s locations using modern communication technology. Not only has it never been easier to add a visualdimension to your audio conferences, you can choose now dependet to the conference situation if you want to useBusinessMeeting for a pure audio conference, just a web conference or using both together. So get going now andengage actively with your customers, partners and work colleagues over the internet.
BusinessMeeting facilitates audio and web conferences with up to 25 participants.The moderator, who initiates the online meeting or webinar, simply has to give the automaticallygenerated session number to his customers, partners or colleagues (e.g. by e-mail, immediate invitation or overthe phone).
After entering the session number, all the participants can actively take part in the conference. (If you wish to havegreater security, a password can be set.) This guarantees e� ective, e� cient workfl ow and/or training, as the casemay be. Overheads previously incurred for presentations and training sessions can be signifi cantly reduced bycutting down on time spent travelling as well as reducing travel and accommodation costs.
With BusinessMeeting, information can be communicated considerably faster, more fl exibly and more e� ectively –around the world in real-time.

The participant starts the BusinessMeeting-Participant Module (FastClient.exe). After start-up, the following window appears.
BusinessMeeting consists of two modules:The Master Module „FastMaster.exe“ contains your license and must not be passed on to customers. This module isalso the session initiator.
The Participant Module „FastClient.exe“ can be passed on at will. For example, you can o� er this module to your sessi-on participants for download from your website. The size of the application means that it can be sent by e-mail too,thus guaranteeing speedy, spontaneous communication. In addition, a link to the download of the Participant’s Moduleis contained in every invitation e-mail automatically generated by the Master Module.
How to start a conferenceTo start a session, start the Master Module „FastMaster.exe“.We recommend to start the web conference directly from the customer portal, because there will be always the currentclient deposited for download and execution. You will fi nd the web conference client in the submenu of „Start confe-rence“ on the left side. To start a session please click on „Start web conference“, choose your room and run the „Fast-Master.exe“ via the corresponding client by clicking on the button. After having connected succesfully to the correspon-dent communication server, the BusinessMeeting sidebar opens, in which all features can be used.

In order to establish a connection, the participant must enter the session number and password (if provided by themoderator) and click on “Start Session”. (If a password is being used, the user will be prompted to enter this.) If theparticipant is downloading from an automatic e-mail invitation, the “session number” fi eld is already fi lled in.

Click on „Planned conferences“ on the left side in the navigation bar and then on „Plan conference“.
Please choose in the predefi ned conference planning: conference subject, moderator, date, start time,duration as well as the conference room with the corresponding participant PIN.
Following addiotional options are at your disposal:Send reminder: Every participant will receive a reminder e-mail prior to the conference.Call participants automatically: All participants will be called automatically and put into the audio conference.Passwort: Choose a password for your web conference, which has to be entered by your participants via the participantmodul in addition to the session number before the conference starts.

You can have an audio conference parallel to your web conference, therefor are national and international dial-innumbers for your participants available. The chosen numbers will appear in the invitation e-mail as well as in theBusinessMeeting-Sidebar of the moderator and participants, so that a dial-in into the audio conference is possible atany time.
The invitation e-mail for your participants is already predefi ned with all important data for your web and audio confe-rence. You can add information but never should delete text blocks. Choose on the followoing page who will receivethe conference invitation.
The meeting will be stored in the conference list in the menu „Planned conferences“. Here you can edit or directly startyour conferences at any time.

The BusinessMeeting-Sidebar can be retracted and extended by clicking on the Sidebar Button ( / ). Inaddition, each of the available toolbars can be arranged however you wish. To do this, all you have to do is move thetoolbar in question to the desired position using the Drag & Drop function. Alternatively, you can also use theButton to “undock” the toolbar. One double click on the top of the toolbar is su� cient to reintegrate the toolbar
into the Sidebar. (Alternatively, you can click on the button to do this.)

Button „Change view direction“ (only in the Master Module):By clicking on „Change view direction“ ”, you can change from being a viewer to a presenter or vice versa. You can only use this function if you have a 1:1 connection.
Button „Special tool“ (only in the Master Module):Under „Special tool“ ”, you can test your internet connection to the meetyoo-Server using the connectionperformance test. In this way, the source of any connection problems can be located quickly.
Button „Choose image quality“ (only in the Master Module):Select the colour quality of the image to be transmitted. The following settings are available: “Low, Normal,High, Loss-free”.
Button „Change zoom mode“:This function allows viewers to switch between viewing the whole image and viewing just one section of it.By clicking on this button, the presenter can change the view for all viewers.
Button „Session recording“:Click on this button to start recording the session. If you click on the button again later, you will be askedwhere you want to save the recording.Whatever you save will be converted to a proprietary format and saved as an exe-fi le.
Button „Whiteboard“:Behind this symbol you will fi nd a Whiteboard, with which you can reinforce what is being shown. Upon star-ting the Whiteboard, a screenshot of the current screen content of whatever is being presented is used. Di� e-rent elements, such as free-style drawings, borders, lines, markings, images or even text, can be placed inthis screenshot. In addition, it is also possible to save the Whiteboard, including all the inserted elements.
Additional information on the Whiteboard:The Master has the option at all times to take away any write permissions for the Whiteboard from the session’sparticipants. In such a case, the participant can instead simply back up the entire Whiteboard as a Bitmap.
While the Whiteboard isbeing used, you can stillreturn at any time to the pre-sented desktop via the tabsystem in the BusinessMee-ting-Console or make use ofany other functions that havealready been started.
To close the Whiteboard,click on the “X” of the appro-priate tab.

Generally speaking, you have the following options while using the Whiteboard:
Create new Whiteboard:(only in the Master Module)
This function enables you to create several Whiteboards. As well aschoosing the size of the new whiteboard, you can also select a Bitmap asa background. To close the Whiteboard, click on the “X” of theappropriate tab.
Reset drawings:(only in the Master Module)
To get a new Whiteboard, you don’t necessarily have to create a secondone from scratch. Using this function, you can reset the Whiteboard toget back to the original starting point and create a new Whiteboard.
Clear Whiteboard:(only in the Master Module)
Here, the entire Whiteboard is reset and the desktop image of thepresenting computer is replaced by a white background.
Save as Bitmap:Click on this button to select a location in which to save the fi le andthereby back up the whole Whiteboard.
Undo previous operation: Undoes the previous operations. Click on this button again to reverse allchanges one at a time.
Close all Whiteboards:(only in the Master Module)
Closes all Whiteboards.
Free drawing: This is like a pencil which allows you to draw free-style.
Mark important details: Highlights text in a specifi c colour.
Draw line: Draws a straight line.
Draw rectangle: Draws a rectangle.
Draw circle or ellipse: Draws a circle or an ellipse.
Draw fi lled rectangle: Draws a fi lled rectangle.
Insert image from a fi le:Add text to graphics or drawings. Simply click on the Whiteboard and“open” a text window.

Erase:This is like an eraser for deleting drawings or other entries on the white-board.

3.3 Participants
Under „Participants“ you will fi nd the following options:
Under „Participants“ all the participants taking part in the currentsession are shown.
Here, you can confi gure the participants’ rights. You can evenchange their names by double-clicking on the name. (Alternatively,you can do this by clicking on and “Rename”.)
In the Master Module, you also have the option of defi ning the con-nection, disconnecting participants or passing on moderator rightsby right-clicking and choosing the desired function.
“Screen” shows the presenter, “Remote control” shows themoderator/participant with control rights. These rights can be reallo-cated in the Master Module with just one click on .
Function rights are controlled in two groups – “Active clients” and“Passive clients”. Only the moderator can control these rights. Tochange a right for an entire group, the moderator clicks on the sym-bol for the group in question. In this context, the moderator has thefollowing options:
Chat messages – Allow participant to send chat messagesFileboard – Allow participant to upload fi lesVideo – Allow participant to show videosAudio – Allow participant to speakWhiteboard – Allow participant to draw
In addition, the moderator can choose where to assign new partici-pants. For example, he can decide whether new participants shouldbe added to the list of active participants or to the list of passiveparticipants. (New participants are active / New participants arepassive.)
Invitation from the ongoing conferenceFurthermore, the moderator can invite new participants duringthe conference. With just one click on „Invite“ an e-mail isgenerated which provides a link leading directly to the session. Afterreceiving the e-mail, the recipient clicks on the link to run the Partici-pant Module, which leads directly to the session (without having toenter any session number).

Show Sidebar:Do you wish to move the BusinessMeeting windows,including the Sidebar?
Show new windows:Click on this button if you wish to transmit applications and windows already started.
Show Desktop:Click on this button if you want the presenter’s desktop to be visible.
Show Taskbar:Click on this button if you want to be able to transmit the presenter’s taskbar.
All opened windows and applications are listed under these options. Here, you can control whether these windows and applications should be transmitted or not. Click on the cor-responding “+” to view the list of individual windows for the applications.

Click on “Video” to display the webcam video or pictureof the participants at the session. The correspondingparticipant’s name will be shown for each video.
Under “My video”, you can show your video/picture andaccess the following confi guration options:
By clicking on this icon , you can select thedevice to be used for your video transmission, e.g. awebcam or, a picture.
Click on the arrow pointing downwards to choosebetween “Low quality”, “Normal quality” and “Excellentquality”.
You can of course also activate/deactivate image trans-mission using the “On/O� ” function.
In this section, you can check at any time what kind ofpicture/video is being transmitted to the other partici-pants at the session. This means you are in completecontrol of your video transmission at all times.
Additional information:The quality of the video will be a� ected by your available bandwidth. In some cases, this bandwidth might not besu� cient in order to display your video in “Excellent quality” mode. If this should happen, please change the videoquality settings.
3.8 Video/My Video
Do you wish to see more than just the desktop of the session’s participants? Using a webcam, you can display videoimages with ease. If you don’t have a webcam, you can simply include a picture.

In the „Telephone conference“ fi eld are the dial-in numbers as well as the participant PIN for your audio conferencedisplayed.
You can choose new dial-in numbers at any time.By clicking on „Change phone numbers“ you willget to an overview of all dial-in numbers. Choosethe numbers you need for your online-meeting.They will be updated in the master and participantclient as well as stored as default for each confe-rence.

Participants who take part in your web conference via the WebClient can only follow the presentation, i.e. they areonly “observers” and cannot slip into the role of moderator to display their own screen for example. In order to establish a connection, the participant must enter the session number (and password, where applicable),enter a user name under “Your name” and click on the green arrow to connect. If you use the automatic invitationtool, the session number will already be fi lled in.
The connection will then be established and the participant gets an overview of the master’s screen. In addition, ifthe participant is taking part in the session via WebClient, he will also be able to receive the speaker’s video and usethe Chat function.
