WISKUNDE is ‘n voorvereiste vir Fisiese Wetenskappe en Inligtings

Tegnologie

Ons beveel aan dat ‘n leerder 50% of meer vir Wiskunde aan die einde

van gr. 9 behaal om dit as ‘n vak in gr. 10 te neem.

MATHEMATICS is a prerequisite for Physical Sciences and Information

Technology.

We recommend that a learner chooses Mathematics only if he/she

achieves 50% or more at the end of grade 9.

AGTSTE VAK

Registreer begin 2021. Leerder neem hierdie vak vir die hele FET-fase.

EIGHTH SUBJECT

Registration beginning of 2021. Learner takes this subject for the full

duration of the FET Phase.

OFFICAL SCHOOL HOURS

The following guidelines serve as basic information for parents

about the right of access on the school grounds.

Complete school policies are available at the office upon request.

A learner has the right of access to Hoërskool Overkruin within

the official school hours determined by the Governing Body.

During the school term the school hours are on Mondays to

Thursdays from 07:20 - 14:00 and on Fridays from 07:20 - 13:30.

Hoërskool Overkruin's contractual relationship with its parents ceases as soon as the school closes at 14:00.

OFFICAL SCHOOL HOURS

After 14:00 (Mondays to Thursdays) and 13:30 (Fridays), the

obligation for the care of the children shifts from the school to the parent or guardian of the child.

After hours, a learner has the right to access the terrain of

Hoërskool Overkruin if a learner's parents have accepted a

contractual relationship with the school in which parents allow

the learner to participate in one or more of the extra-curricular

activities of the school as arranged by the organisers and coaches of the various extra-curricular activities of the school.

OFFICAL SCHOOL HOURS

Coaches are only responsible for supervision and management

of learners who engage in extra-curricular activities for the

duration of the extra-curricular activities.

Upon conclusion of away events, only 30 minutes of

teacher/coach supervision will be available after arriving at

school. Thereafter, the learner will be left in the supervision of

the security guard. The learner(s) must wait for his/her/their parents / guardians inside the main gate.

AMPTELIKE SKOOLURE

Die volgende riglyne dien as basiese inligting vir ouers oor die reg van

toegang op die skoolterrein.

Volledige skoolbeleide is op versoek by die kantoor beskikbaar. Rig

asseblief enige navrae in dié verband aan: info@overkruin.com

ʼn Leerder het die reg van toegang tot Hoërskool Overkruin binne die

amptelike skoolure wat deur die beheerliggaam bepaal word.

Gedurende die skoolkwartaal is die skoolure op Maandae tot Donderdae

vanaf 07:20 – 14:00 en op Vrydae vanaf 07:20 – 13:30.

Hoërskool Overkruin se kontraktuele verbintenis met ouers staak sodra die

skool om 14:00 verdaag.

Na 14:00 (Maandae tot Donderdae) en 13:30 (Vrydae) verskuif die verpligting

vanaf die skool na die ouer of voog van die kind om sy/haar kind te versorg.

ʼn Leerder het na-ure die reg tot toegang tot die terrein van Hoërskool

Overkruin indien ʼn leerder se ouers ʼn kontraktuele verbintenis met die skool

aanvaar het waardeur die ouers die leerder toelaat om aan een of meer van die

buite-kurrikulêre aktiwiteite van die skool te mag deelneem soos gereël deur

die organiseerders en afrigters van die verskillende buite-kurrikulêre aktiwiteite

van die skool.

Afrigters is slegs verantwoordelik vir toesig en beheer oor leerders wat by

buite-kurrikulêre aktiwiteite inskakel vir die duur van die buite-kurrikulêre

aktiwiteite.

Na afloop van wegbyeenkomste sal daar na aankoms by die skool slegs 30

minute onderwyser-/afrigtertoesig wees. Daarna sal die leerder in die toesig

van die sekuriteitswag gelaat word. Die leerder(s) moet aan die BINNEKANTvan die hoofhek vir hulle ouers/voogde wag.

• Please inform school telephonically, email, letter when your

child is absent.

• Try to make doctors’ appointments after school hours.

• When not possible make arrangements timeously.

• Parent him/herself must sign learner out – do not sit and

wait in your car.

• If unable to pick up learner yourself, arrange with secretary,

Mrs Isabelle Rousseau, in writing

• Absenteeism during exams, portfolio assignments and tests

must be accompanied by a legal medical certificate. If not,

a learner is awarded nil.

• No special requests of going on early holidays/long

weekends will be considered. Learners will write

test/exams until the last day.

• Long weekends: 14:00

• Holidays: 11:00

Punctuality is the soul of our business

Punctuality is based on two very important factors

1. The first is a reverence for time,

2. The second is a respect for people.

Punctuality is being present, prepared and alert on appointed times and seasons.

Being punctual is living in harmony with the nature of God – who is always precisely

on time.

Failing to be punctual hinders God’s purposes in our lives and offends those who are

then forced to wait for us.

People tend to count the faults of those who keep them waiting.

The longer they wait, the more faults they find.

OUERS SE VERANTWOORDELIKHEID:

• Meld asb. in brief/e-pos datum van afspraak, rede en

tyd wanneer leerder gehaal word.

• Maak seker u kind skryf nie ‘n toets/portefeulje-

opdrag in die afspraaktyd nie.

LEERDER SE VERANTWOORDELIKHEID:

• Verskoon hom/haar 5 minute voordat ouer

hom/haar kom haal uit klas.

• Vergesel ouer na mev. Isabelle Rousseau waar ouer

hom/haar uitteken.

• Eie vervoer – ouer reël skriftelik met mev. Rousseau

VERSEKER ASSEBLIEF DAT:

• die leerder die brief van die ouers gee

• die leerder nie ‘n toets/portefeulje-

opdrag/mondeling gaan mis nie.

• (Daar is gevalle waar leerders ouers manipuleer om

afsprake te maak in die tyd waarin ‘n toets geskryf

moet word).

• Voltooi uittekenregister by mev. Isabelle Rousseau.

• Indien ‘n leerder gedurende skooltyd siek word,

moet hy/sy by die ontvangsarea aanmeld.

• Mev. Rousseau sal dan die ouer skakel.

Ons kry die indruk dat ons ouers hulle kinders té

maklik by die huis hou

en dat leerders vir die geringste skeet by die skool

kom haal word.
