Jaarlijkse Verkoping van amateur spullen tegen amateur prijzen .

Zo voor vele is de carnaval weer voorbij , en kunnen we het gewone leven weer oppakken

hihi.

Zelf hebben we er niets van meegekregen , maar er zullen vast veel mensen zijn geweest die

weer genoten hebben van deze dagen , hoewel het weer niet echt mee werkte . Wat ik dan wel

erg jammer vind voor sommige bouwers van de prachtige wagens.

Zelf nog lekker ziek aan het wezen , we hebben last van een flinke griep namelijk en dus

NIETS aan de radiohobby gedaan .Wel had ik op 6 januari nog wat Flora &Fauna stations in

het log mogen zetten , en dat was het dan ook voor me .

Wat me wel opgevallen was op de website is dat de datum’s van de activiteiten weer klopte ,

en zo heb ik ook de juiste datum doorgegeven voor de lezing die in oktober plaats gaat vinden

over DX-Lab. (stond 20 okt , maar dit moest zijn 18 okt ).

Verder heb ik een hele lijst met activiteiten ontvangen van Toon PD0RWL voor vhf/uhf/shf .

Bedankt hiervoor Toon , en zal deze per maand weer gaan gebruiken.

PACC contest

Op zaterdag 13 februari 2016 start de jaarlijkse PACC-contest, waarbij Nederlanders een keer aan de andere kant van de pile-up staan. De contest duurt in totaal 24 uur en eindigt op zondag 14 februari om 12.00 uur UTC.

De contest wordt georganiseerd door VERON en alle deelnemers

krijgen een aandenken in de vorm van het bekende ‘PACC

Vaantje’, mits uiteraard het log ingezonden wordt. Voor mensen

met weinig contest ervaring is het logprogramma van Evert

(PA3AYQ) beschikbaar.

Special Rules for this Contest

These contests are timed to co-incide with the last two hours of a number

of European activity contests, with an extra half hour at the end to

encourage intra UK activity. They take place on Tuesdays from 2000-2230

local time with 144 MHz on the 1st Tuesday of the month, 432 MHz on the 2nd

Tuesday, 1.3 GHz on the 3rd Tuesday, 50 MHz and 13cms to 3cms on the 4th

Tuesday (due to Primary user restrictions, the 13cm event timings differ),

and 70 MHz where there is a 5th Tuesday in the month.

A UK station is required to be at one or both ends of a QSO for it to be

valid.

Please submit an entry after each session in which you are active.

Scores will be normalised for each section in each session as follows.

Score for each section/session = ((number of entrants+1)-(position of

entrant))*1000/(number of entrants)

The maximum number of sessions that will count towards the final individual

scores will be EIGHT on all bands except 4m where it will be THREE. Only

the lowest scoring entries are discarded.

Note that ALL sessions count towards you club score.

It is impossible for you to determine your best sessions without knowing

everyone else's scores, so please submit your logs and scores from all

sessions in which you were active and allow the adjudicator to calculate

your best sessions.

Stations may change section and move location between individual activity

periods.

Certificates will be awarded to the overall winners and runners-up in each

section and on each band in the same way as per the general rules. No

certificates will be awarded for the individual events.

a. The individual entries by a club's members to the UK activity contests

which take place on each Tuesday in every month all count towards a

society's overall score for the year for each UKAC. To maximise the club

score, it's important for the club contest organiser to get as many members

to come on for as many sessions as possible. A rolling club listing will be

maintained on the Contest Committee web site www.rsgbcc.org/vhf/results for

each band.

b. Stations enter the UKAC contests in the normal way, but need to choose

an AFS (affiliated society) name when uploading their log. Entries to all

sections of the UKAC count towards the overall club score which is the

simple sum of the normalised scores of each team member operating that

month.

c. Stations who enter on behalf of an affiliated society must be members of

the affiliated society, but not necessarily RSGB members themselves.

d. All sessions will count towards the total club score.

Awards for this Contest

G6NB Trophy will be awarded to the winner of the Club Championship.

The Foundation Shield will be awarded to the leading Foundation

Licensee

VERON VHF-dag aangekondigd

door PH4X (bron Hamnieuws)

Op zaterdag 2 april a.s. zal de VERON VHF-en-hoger dag weer

plaatsvinden. Dit jaar wordt deze georganiseerd in Eindhoven. Waar

vorig jaar het programma in het teken stond van satellieten is dit jaar

gekozen voor Quality Modes en ‘Digital Voice’, zoals DMR, D-star,

System Fusion, Tetra, etc.

De dag is gratis toegankelijk voor VERON-leden. Niet-leden betalen sinds dit jaar € 10 in de

bijdrage aan de kosten. Vooraf aanmelden is noodzakelijk en moet voor 25 maart a.s.

gebeuren.

Natuurlijk zullen de contestbekers worden uitgereikt en zal er een forum zijn, waar ieder z’n

opbouwende punten onder de aandacht kan brengen. Tevens bestaat de mogelijkheid om

metingen te verrichten aan apparatuur en zullen er diverse lezingen zijn. Niet alleen over

‘digital voice’ maar ook andere VHF-en-hoger interessante zaken, zoals mogelijk ATV, weak

signals en mogelijk amateur-satellieten kan deel uitmaken van het gevarieerde programma.

Verder heb ik niet echt veel nieuws te melden , en lijkt het me niet verstandig alles van hamnieuws in

onze Pdf file te zetten , maar soms pik ik er wel eens wat uit.
