The universities of applied sciences offer practically-orientated courses of study, applied research and state of the art equipment. Besides courses such as technology, engineering, computer sciences or applied natural sciences, you can also choose among a wide range of areas such as economics, social studies, design and media.

Graduates from universities of applied sciences face bright prospects on the job market, for several reasons: Students of all bachelor courses spend one semester doing an internship, gathering practical experience and getting to know companies. Teaching takes place in fairly small course groups, and the lecturers all have a lot of profes-sional working experience. Finally, you can fi nd many postgraduate study courses here.

Considering a practically-orientated course of studies? Find out more about the Bavarian universities of applied sciences here: https://www.study-in-bavaria.de/hs/en

At the universities of arts you will receive an excellent artistic training in art, music, theatre, architecture, graphic design, design, fi lm, and tele-vision. In Bavaria, there are two state universities of arts, three univer-sities of music and one university of television and fi lm.

Apart from that, there are also two church-funded universities of art. But watch out! The places at the universities of arts are much sought-after. You will usually have to take part in an entrance examina-tion and demonstrate your artistic talent.

You want to study at a university of arts? Take a closer look at the Bavarian universities of arts here:https://www.study-in-bavaria.de/arts/
