Professor Olivier Baudoin
Olivier Baudoinwas born in France in 1973, grew up in Bordeauxand studied chemistry at the Ecole Nationale Sup�erieure de Chimiede Paris (ENSCP, 1995). He completed his PhD in 1998 in the groupof Jean-Marie Lehn in Paris on the synthesis and study of cyclo-

bisintercaland molecules. He thenworked as a post-doctoral fellowwith K. C. Nicolaou in the Scripps Research Institute (La Jolla). Hejoined the Institut de Chimie des Substances Naturelles in 1999 asa CNRS researcher and obtained his Habilitation diploma in 2004.In 2006, he was appointed as a Professor at the University of Lyon1, and was promoted to First Class Professor in 2011. He was the re-cipient of the CNRS Bronze Medal in 2005, the Claude Dufour Prizein 2007, the Scholar Award (‘Prix Enseignant-Chercheur’) of theFrench Chemical Society, Organic Division in 2010 and was nomi-nated as a junior member of Institut Universitaire de France (IUF)in 2009.
