Ik, Danny Brederoo, ben na de opleiding HEAO-CE en de Vrije Academie, ruim zes jaar geleden begonnen met ontwerpbureau Studio Brederoo. Via mijn portfolio wil ik laten zien dat vormgeving er voor iedereen is. Of het nu gaat om een kleine huisstijl, website, een brochurelijn of het verzorgen van evenementen design, elk ontwerp is uniek voor de opdrachtgever.
Naast grafische vormgeving, verzorg ik met regelmaat de fotografie voor mijn op-drachtgever, waarvan een aantal aan het eind van de portfolio te zien zijn.

WIE, zijn wij? Mogen we ons even voorstellen; Octrooicentrum Nederland, hét kenniscentrum als het gaat om informatie over innovatie en octrooien. Naast het verlenen van octrooien in Nederland, informeert Octrooicentrum Nederland ook over het zoeken in de octrooidatabanken en over de nieuwheid van uitvindingen. Hiervoor is een heel team van octrooiadviseurs beschikbaar. Octrooicentrum Nederland is een agentschap van het ministerie van Economische Zaken.
WAT, kan je met een octrooi? Een octrooi (ook wel patent genoemd) is een exclusief recht op een uitvinding. Wie een octrooi heeft, kan een ander verbieden de beschreven uitvinding na te maken, te verkopen of in te voeren. Het octrooi geldt steeds voor een bepaald gebied en voor een bepaalde tijd; daarna is de techniek vrij te gebruiken. Een octrooihouder kan een namaker voor de rechter dagen. De ‘namaker’ heeft geen ontwikkelingskosten gehad en kan daardoor zijn producten goedkoper op de markt brengen. Iedere ontwerper kan dus voorkomen dat er tijd wordt gestoken in iets dat al bestaat door zich even te verdiepen in de miljoenen octrooipublicaties. Deze zijn gratis te raadplegen via internet. Naast inspiratiebron kan een dergelijk onderzoek ook de kwaliteit (haalbaarheid) van een octrooi verbeteren.
WAAR, moet u zijn als u een idee of uitvinding wilt beschermen? Bij Octrooicentrum Nederland dus. Wij zijn er voor iedereen met een goed idee; voor (startende) MKB’ers, particuliere uitvinders, kennisinstituten, wetenschappers, docenten en studenten van hogescholen en universiteiten en de overheid. Alle medewerkers van Octrooicentrum Nederland hebben geheimhoudings-plicht en zijn altijd bereid uw vragen over octrooien (kosteloos) te beantwoorden. WANNEER, kunt u een octrooi krijgen? Er zijn drie eisen waaraan een uitvinding moet voldoen omeen octrooi te krijgen. Dat zijn:1) nieuwheid: het product mag vóór de datum van indiening nergens bekend zijn;2) inventiviteit: de vinding voor mag niet voor de vakman voor de hand liggen;3) industriële toepasbaarheid: de uitvinding moet een technischen functionerend product zijn

Global Conference on the Future of Hospital Pharmacy
30-31 August 2008, Basel, Switzerland
You are invited to participate in a historic event that will guide the future development of hospital pharmacy practice around the world. The FIP Hospital Pharmacy Section (HPS) is hosting a Global Conference on the Future of Hospital Pharmacy imme-diately before the start of the 68th International Congress of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP).
The conference is open to any hospital pharmacy leader, hospi-tal pharmacist or other individual interested in hospital phar-macy practice. This event will give the participants the opportu-nity to share professional experiences in hospital pharmacy with colleagues from all over the world.
The complete findings of a Global Survey on Hospital Phar-macy Practice, a FIP Board of Pharmaceutical Practice Special Project carried out in 2007-2008, will be presented. The partici-pants will identify opportunities for global advancement of hos-pital pharmacy practice relevant to the needs of each participa-ting country. Working group sessions will focus on various dimensions of the medication use process in hospital. Consen-sus statements will be developed to offer guidance on the deve-lopment of tools to advance hospital pharmacy practice.
The conference will truly be a unique opportunity to influence, in a very direct way, the development of hospital pharmacy in all countries of the world, consistent with the critical needs that patients and healthcare professionals have for pharmacists’ expertise.
