De Papoea's zijn de oorspronkelijke bewoners van het eiland Nieuw-Guinea en

enkele naburige eilanden. Ze wonen verspreid over twee landen; Indonesië (de

provincies Papoea en West-Papoea, voor 2000 samen Irian Jaya) en Papoea-

Nieuw-Guinea. Daarnaast wonen er door emigratie Papoea's in de westerse

wereld, vooral in Nederland.

•Papoea kamer juwelen worden uitsluitend gemaakt met natuurlijke materialen

zoals schelpen, hout en alles wat moeder natuur te bieden heeft.

Onze Papoea kamer juwelen dragen bij aan geluk in huis. De voorwerpen staan

•Asmat Schilden: De schilden worden met kleurige patronen versierd, en dienen

dan ook hoofdzakelijk als een psychologisch object die bij rituelen worden

gebruikt. Asmat producten zijn relatief zeldzaam door de enorme verzamel-

markt. De Asmat schilden staan symbool voor bescherming en zorgen dan ook

voor veiligheid in het huis en beschermen tegen alles wat kwaad kan doen. De

Asmat zelf hebben de schilden altijd in huis staan om het onheil van buiten af te

weren.
