NNWS: wie zijn wij?

Wat doet NWS?

Voorlichten, verbinden, vertegenwoordigen.

Al tien jaar hét netwerk voor Nederlanders in het buitenland.

Specifiek voor scholieren/studenten die een opleiding buiten NL doen, dit willen doen of al gedaan hebben.

Jaarlijks gekozen bestuursleden & netwerk van lokale clubs (Londen, Cambridge, Oxford, Seoul, Barcelona, Peking, Aken, etc.).

Subsidie van Ministerie van OC&W, sponsoring door partners uit het bedrijfsleven.

Hoe doen we dat?

Lopende projecten

Flexibele uitbetaling van leengelden DUO & verhoging van het collegegeldkrediet voor buitenlandstudies (in samenwerking met OCW, DUO, ISO & LSVb).

Brexitcoalitie met organisaties uit Zweden, Noorwegen en Denemarken.

Werkgroep internationaal inschrijven (geïnitieerd door DUO en in samenwerking met Nederlandse onderwijsinstellingen).

Op de verlanglijst

• Cijferlijsten hoger onderwijs (= diploma supplement) en Engelse versie opnemen in het Diplomaregister.

• Beursmogelijkheden verruimen (publiek en privaat).

• Nederlandse International Offices ondersteunen bij voorlichting over buitenlandstudies.

• Bereik van NWS vergroten i.s.m. beurzenverstrekkers en OCW.

SFTP (1:1 versturen van pdf’s):• Van China (diplomaregister CHESICC) naar NL: met 11 HO-instellingen• Van NL naar China (CSCSE voor diplomawaardering): paar 1.000 studenten• Van NL naar Vlaanderen (AHOVOKS & 3 HO-instellingen in Vlaanderen)• Van NL naar Germany (Stiftung für Hochschulzulassung voor selectie proces)

eDelivery:• Proof of concept in 2017• In het echt in 2018• Heel geschikt voor batch proces (bijvoorbeeld controle op inschrijving voor SF in buitenland)

EMREX (netwerk voor uitwisselen onderwijsresultaten):• DUO als National Contact Point (Diplomaregister)• uitwisseling met Noorwegen, Zweden, Finland, Denemarken, Polen, Italië (uit NL)• Op zoek naar Duitse universiteiten

FAIR - Focus on Automatic Institutional Recognition

Faster and more transparent recognition procedures within the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) will improve student mobility throughout Europe. The FAIR project will contribute to streamline recognition procedures in the EHEA by measuring the effect of the implementation of elements of automatic recognition in the recognition procedures of 22 higher education institutions from six countries.

Diploma supplement

In the context of the specific request for revision of the Diploma Supplement (DS), the European Commission has contracted the Public Policy and Management Institute (PPMI), represented by MrHaroldas Brožaitis (Managing Director), to conduct a Study to support the revision of the Diploma Supplement and analyse the feasibility of its digitalisation at European level.

The quality of the Diploma Supplement: a national survey

In June 2016, the Dutch team of Bologna Experts completed a national survey of the Diploma Supplements issued by Dutch Higher Education Institutions. This report briefly describes the survey and its main findings.

The EHEA Diploma Bank (EHEA-DB) in 2018?

Netherlands and Norway have deployed online national repositories of qualifications in 2017 and France is also

considering doing the same in the near future, while regional governments such as Flanders are also playing a active and important role.

However there is no European framework that

ensures the compatibility between different national solutions.

The EHEA Diploma Bank would look to address this issue
