HIJSBALKEN

Hijsjukken zijn structuren die kun-nen worden gebruikt tussen de kraanhaak en de lading om de hijs-hoogte te verlagen, om de induc-tie van spanning op de lading te vermijden of om een combinatie te maken van 2 hijskranen om de hijscapaciteit te verhogen.

Belangrijke ontwerp kenmerken:- Maximale lengte- De capaciteit of VWB- Het type aansluitpunten- Het aantal aansluitpunten

LIFTING BEAMS

Lifting beams are structures that can be used between the crane hook and the cargo to decrease the lifting height, avoid the induc-tion of stress in the cargo or to combine 2 cranes to increase the total lifting capacity of the vessel.

Important design characteristics:- Maximum length- The capacity or SWL- The type of connection points- The number of connection points

Lifting beam avoids adverse forces on cargo

KOKER HIJSBALK

De meest voorkomende kokerbalk is voorzien van bolders om de verbinding met de kraan en de last te maken. De belangrijkste kenmerken van een dergelijke hijsbalk zijn:- Zeer veelzijdig- Aansluiting met grommers, zware en dure sluitingen zijn

niet verplicht- Ideaal voor hoge belastingen en lange lengtes- Zwaarder maar steviger dan de I-beam equivalent

BOX-SHAPED LIFTING BEAM

The most common box beam is equipped with bollards to make the connection to the crane and the load. The key characteristics of such a beam are:- Highly versatile- Connection with grommets, heavy and expensive shack-

les are not required- Ideal for high loads and long lengths- Heavier but more sturdy than its I-beam equivalent

De meest voorkomende I-balk is voorzien van hijsogen om verbinding te maken tussen de kraan en de lading. Dit impliceert dat er compatibele sluitingen met de hijsogen dienen te worden gebruikt.De I-vormige balken zijn zeer geschikt voor:- Lagere capaciteiten- Kortere lengtes

SPREID BALKEN

Spreid balken vermijden negatieve belasting van de lading en de aansluitingspunten wanneer de aanslag naar een hijspunt wordt geleid. In contrast met hijsbalken worden spreider balken niet ontworpen voor buigende momenten.

VASTE SPREIDER BALK MET 1 SET HIJSOGEN

- Laagste eigen gewicht- Slechts één paar boven aanslag kabels nodig- Geen flexibiliteit

VASTE SPREIDBALK MET MEERDERE PAAR OGEN

- Relatief licht - Veelzijdiger vanwege meerdere aansluitpunten- Meerdere boven aanslag kabels nodig- Boven- en onderaanslag moet op dezelfde positie

SPREADER BEAMS

Spreader beams avoid adverse loading of the cargo and its connection points when more than 1 connection point is to be connected to one connection point of the lifting appli-ance. In contrast to lifting beams, spreader beams are not designed for bending moments.
