DUTIES ADMINISTRATION
Setting up and maintenance of effective control systems for auditing of departmental operations.
Ensures that all correspondence is efficiently routed through the department and replied to or acted upon promptly.
Sets up priorities for subordinates to deal with outstanding issues related to correspondence.
Ensures that all departmental returns are promptly processed by regular checking and monitoring.
Ensures that the departmental divisions are adhering to sound practices with regard to stock levels.

Liaise with the Contractors’ Site Agent with regard to all aspects of the works.
Communicate with the public via the Community Liaison Officer and reports to the Engineer
when necessary.
Liaise with the relevant service providers to co-ordinate the alteration or relocation of their
services.
Attend and /or chair formal site meetings with the Contractor and Client.
Prepare draft minutes of Technical and/or Site Meetings.
Maintain a site diary
Monitor materials testing on-site and off-site.
Issues Site instructions to the Contractor.
