Dear Henk ,

Just afew lines to say , How are you an HAPPy NEW YEAR!

This end we are managing though it has been so dry in that our cows have been affected

and there is a drop in terms of milk production. We pray and hope that soon we wil!

receive few drops of rain just for our animais .The Abakofu Belinda SH G was so thril!ed to learn that the Stichting Oud in Afrika

agreed to support them. On their budget, the cost for land where to put up a poultry

house was not inc/uded One of them is willing to donate half an acre for that purpose,

but I have advised them to follow the right channel and process all the necessary

documents for that piece of land so that infuture they / their children do not suffer any

loss. This would take approximately Ksh . 50,000/ = , i.e. 30 ,000/ = for purchasing that

piece of land and 20 ,000 /= for processing .

The amount that was to be sent to this particular group has not been rejlected in the OIA

account yet. As soon as the money is received, the work wil! commence.

I have se nt the j inancial report and an application for the Regd Nurse with Fr . Piet. In

case of anything , please do not hastate to ask .

Dear Sir/ Madam,

RE: REQUEST FOR KSB. 180,000/=, SALARY FOR REGISTERED NURSE.

As I had discussed with Mr. Henk . VanStokkom in October 2008, concerning anotherRegd. Nurse to assist in the medica! care for older persons (mainly home based), I am

glad to inform you that I found one from around Mundika area.

He is a retired senior nurse who has worked at Busia District Hospita! for a number of

years. His name is, Mr . Charles Juma , in mid SOs.His retirement from the government

job took place mid last year (2008). He is familiar to most of our older persons and

knows their homes, which is of great help to us .

His work with us commenced on 2 0d Jan'2009, and as discussed before, his payment

would be Ksh. 15,000/= per month, i.e. 180,000/= per year.

Since this amount was not included in the 2009 budget, I kindly request if you could

consider how we could possibly pay him for the service rendered.
