Driving stability

Many advanced driving support systems, fitted asstandard, keep you safe and secure on the road. VehicleStability Control+ (VSC+), for instance, increases thealready high protection levels of VSC by adding automaticsteering assistance to the enhanced grip and corneringstability provided by the system. Theres also Traction

The new Prius features special side-impact supportboxes to help ensure survival space for all on-board, high-strength side members to reduce bodydeformation in a collision and high-tensile steel toreact to and disperse frontal collision force. Multiple airbags

Seven airbags throughout the new Prius offercomprehensive protection. Along with airbags for thedriver and front seat passenger, there are front seat-mounted side bags, a drivers knee airbag and sidecurtain airbags.

Active headrestsThese can play an important role in helping to reduce

neck and shoulder injuries in a rear collision. They workby moving forward when theres an impact, reducing thedistance between your head and the headrest itself.
