VGB Fach ta gungGas tur bi nen und Gas tur bi nen be trieb 2011Im Zweijahresrhythmus werden Betreiber, Hersteller, Ver- sicherer, Behörden und Experten des R&D-Bereiches vom VGB PowerTech e.V. dazu eingeladen, durch Vorträge und umfassende Diskussion aktueller Fragen zur Gasturbine und dem Gasturbinenbetrieb den Erfahrungs-, Erkenntnis- und Gedankenaustausch zu intensivieren. Mit Präsenz un-serer zahlreichen Kooperationspartner aus der Gasturbi-nenwirtschaft wird ein Veranstaltungsrahmen geboten, der als internationales Forum für Herstellung und Erweiterung geschäftlicher wie persönlicher Kontakte beste Voraus- setzungen schafft.

Beachtliche Fortschritte in der Forschung und Entwicklung haben dazu geführt, dass die Gasturbine als Kernkompo-nente von effizienten und emissionsarmen Kombianlagen sowie als Antrieb von Spitzenlastanlagen und Verdichter-stationen eine hohe Attraktivität erlangt hat. Wirkungsgrad der Gasturbine und Lebensdauer der hochbeanspruchten Komponenten wurden und werden insbesondere durch Verbesserung der Werkstoffe, der Kühltechnik und Wär-medämmung sowie des Korrosionsschutzes der Heißgas-teile, der aerodynamischen Auslegung der Beschaufelung von Verdichter und Turbine und der Prozessgestaltung in beachtlichen Entwicklungsschritten verbessert.

Mit der vom Wettbewerb in liberalisierten Strommärkten induzierten Erhöhung des Gasturbinenwirkungsgrades bei einzuhaltenden Standards für die Zuverlässigkeit befinden sich Hersteller und Betreiber in einem schwierigen Span-nungsfeld. Fragen der Qualitätssicherung bei Herstellung und Instandhaltung der Gasturbinen sowie strategische Ansätze zur Konsolidierung der Lifecycle-costs und Kon-zepte für Lifetime-extension stehen im Mittelpunkt gegen-wärtiger Diskussionen. Mit geeigneten Technologien und neuen Anlagenkonzepten gilt es, neben der Versorgungs-zuverlässigkeit und Wirtschaftlichkeit, den wachsenden Anforderungen eines nachhaltigen Klimaschutzes sowie der Ressourcenschonung gerecht zu werden. Der Ausbau erneuerbarer Energien mit hoher Volatilität erfordert signifi-kante Verbesserungen der Leistungsflexibilität sowie den Ausbau vom Energiespeichern auch unter Einbeziehung der Gasturbinentechnologie. Um bei knapper werdenden Ressourcen auf wechselnde Brennstoffqualitäten und -angebote der globalen Energiemärkte flexibel reagieren zu können, sind brennstoffflexible, zuverlässige und schadstoffarme Brennerkonzepte erforderlich.

VGB Con fe ren ceGas Tur bi nes and Ope ra ti on of Gas Tur bi nes 2011Every two years, VGB PowerTech e.V. invites plant opera-tors, manufacturers, insurers, authorities and experts in the R&D field to intensify the exchange of experience, knowledge and ideas through presentations and extensive discussion of current issues relating to gas turbines and the operation of gas turbines. With many of our numerous co-operative partners from the gas turbine in-dustry present, an event framework is provided that as an international forum creates the best environment for the development and extension of both business and person-al contacts.

Noteworthy advances in research and development have led to gas turbines achieving a high degree of attractive-ness both as core components of efficient, low-emission multi-function facilities and as drive systems for peak load systems and compressor stations. The efficiency of gas turbines and the lifetime of the highly loaded components have been and are being improved in considerable devel-opment stages, in particular by improving the materials, cooling technology, thermal insulation, hot gas component corrosion protection, aerodynamic design of the compres-sor and the turbine, and process design.

With the increase in turbine power efficiency induced by the liberalisation of the electricity markets, and with relia-bility standards that must be adhered to, manufacturers and plant operators find themselves in an area of conflict. Issues of quality assurance in the manufacturing and maintenance of gas turbines, strategic attempts at con-solidation of the life cycle costs, and concepts for lifetime extension are the focus of current discussions. The aim is to use suitable technologies and new plant concepts to meet not only the requirements of reliable supply and cost-effectiveness, but also the growing demands for sus-tainable climate protection and saving resources. The de-velopment of high volatility renewables demands signifi-cant improvements in capacity flexibility as well as exten-sion of energy storages, taking into account gas turbine technology. In order to be able to react flexibly to chang-ing fuel qualities and supplies on the global energy market during times of increasingly scarce resources, burner con-cepts are required that are flexible on the fuels they use, reliable and low in pollutants.

Eine spätere Anmeldung, auch im Tagungsbüro, ist möglich, jedoch ohne Aufnahme in das Teil- nehmerverzeichnis. Die Rechnung geht Ihrem Unternehmen mit der Post zu. Die Tagungsunterlagen werden Ihnen vor Beginn der Tagung im Tagungsbüro ausgehändigt. Für Studenten steht ein begrenztes Kontingent an Freikarten zur Verfügung, die bei Vorlage eines gültigen Studentenausweises (Fotokopie) angefordert werden können.
