Novena and Feast of Our Lady of the Altagracia. Our brothers and sisters from the Hispanic community will soon celebrate their protective mother, Our Lady of the Altagracia. They invite you to participate in the Mass that will take place on Saturday, January 21 in our Par-ish at 6:00pm. The Novena will be prayed every day at 6:15 P.M. in the Church chapel until January 20.
Holy Hour for Life in our Collaborative A Holy Hour for Life will be held on Monday Janu-ary 23rd from 7-8pm at St. Thomas Aquinas. We will pray together for those who have been wounded by abortion, for respect for the dignity of human life from conception to natural death, and that those who govern us may be guided by justice, truth, and a love for the gift of life.

The St. Vincent de Paul Society We helped 19 families each week in the month of December 2016: $2,290 with food vouch-ers and $20 in personal items. Because of your generous donations we were able to fill 25
bags of household items for distribution to the needy of our parish. You are a key part of this quiet but important work. Without your donations in the St. Vincent de Paul boxes at the back of church, we may not be able to assist some of those who turn to us. Thank you. We remind you that we meet every Thursday, at 6:30 - 7:30pm in the Parish Hall of St. Thomas.

The food pantry opens every Monday evening (Tuesday
evening after a Monday holiday) from 6:30 to 8:00 in
the basement of the OLOL parish center, 45 Brookside
Ave. We also need a strong, enthusiastic volunteer to
help with our Monday morning (9:15 to 11:15) pick-
ups from the Greater Boston Food Bank. If you can
possibly help out, please call the Rectory. If you like
to support us please leave your monetary donation in the
box/pillar in the entrance of the church. We no longer
accept food, so please do not leave them inside the
church because they will bring mice.

Schools of Peace are a tutoring/mentoring program for youth
in the city. Each School of Peace aims to be a welcoming
and warm place for youth to gather each week, receiving
homework support, learning about peace and building new
friendships. School of Peace is free and runs on Saturdays
from 2--5pm at the Curtis Hall Community Center on South
