Come experience the integration of art in learning hard-applied knowledge of STEM!• Learn about the open-source technology of Arduino and how the hardware supports the functions of our mini robot• Get the general idea on coding and try out different commands on Scratch platform• Create your own robot character design Terms for Trial Offer• 8 – 12 years old children are qualified to join one of the trial classes• Class content for each lesson is the same• All materials are provided• For reservation, please contact our Central Studio, Taikoo Shing Studio, or Atom Academy• It’s first-come-first-served and confirmed with payment in full• Classes will be canceled once the Typhoon Signal No. 8 or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is hoisted. These classes will not be rescheduled or refunded

Terms & Conditions

1. The application will be processed on first-come-first-served basis and confirmed with payment in full.2. One make-up class is allowed over the period of a particular project, which is set to be the same class time at 7th week of the particular project (A week after the last lesson).3. HKD 400 will be charged for students who would like an extra lesson.4. No refund or transfer of fees after the enrollment is confirmed.5. Program content may be subject to minor variations without further notice.6. Students may be using box cutters, glue guns and other tools; with the use of protective gloves and under the supervision of instructors.7. Photographs and videos taken by us during classes, workshops and events, showing your child and yourself, may be used for teacher training and promotional purposes. If you do not consent to the use of these materials, please inform us.8. We collect, store and use your personal data in compliance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance of Hong Kong. We will deliver promotional information to you through various communications channels. Should you prefer not to receive such information, please send your request by email to marketing@creativekids.com.hk9. A courtesy coupon for enrollment in a seasonal or summer workshop will be issued.

條款及細則

1.課程以先到先得形式取錄學生，並在全數繳付學費後方算核實。

2.學生若因生病、學校活動或特殊情況而須缺席課堂，可以每個課程補堂一次，

補堂設於課堂第7週的同一時間。請於課堂開始前通知我們，方可獲安排補課。

3.如需額外安排課堂，我們將收取每堂港幣400元費用。

4.報名確認後，已繳交的費用於任何情況下恕不退回。

5.課程內容編排如有更改，恕不另行通知。

6.學生將在學習過程中，由導師督導下有機會使用美工刀及熱溶槍等工具，使用時

亦需配戴手套，敬請家長留意。

7.我們會於課堂、工作坊及活動上拍攝照片及影片，並用作教師培訓及宣傳。

如家長不同意，請通知我們。

8.我們將根據香港的《個人資料(私隱)條例》收集、保存及使用您的個人資料，

並以不同的聯絡方式傳送推廣資訊給您。如閣下不希望接收有關資訊，

請電郵至marketing@creativekids.com.hk通知我們。

9.若八號颱風訊號或黑色暴雨警告訊號懸掛，所有課堂將會取消，並不設補課或

退款。我們將發出一張代用劵，可用於報讀節日及暑期工作坊。

The STEAMind Special Project of 2017-18 academic year empha-

sizes on mechanical engineering and coding fundamentals, blended

with art and theme design. Unleash children’s potential - Step out and

奇極創作室的STEAM啟發式創意教學

精髓在於動手做，鼓勵小朋友在建構科技工程的同時呈現藝術美學。導師激

發學員的探究精神及好奇心，培養小朋友以創意方法解決日常生活難題的能

力，用不同觀點切入思考。在製作過程中，鼓勵不斷嘗試、錯誤、再摸索的

學習(Trialanderror)，促進小朋友的全人發展。

2017-18學年的STEAMindSpecialProject，小學員會集中學習電子編程及

機械運行的原理，並與藝術創作融會貫通。踏出你的第一步，你也可以當個

小小工程師！

甚麼是STEAM？

藝術和設計是連接各學科的重要橋樑，將藝術(Art)融合“STEM ”：科學

(Science)、科技(Technology)、工程(Engineering)及數學(Maths)的跨

學科教學方法。

Not only will Robot put you at ease, but it will also be your great “Back-to-school” companion! As long as you are interested in robotics, you can create a mini robot and assemble with custom theme and character.

This hero project is a representative of “Design Thinking” and blended learning in STEAM - Integrating art and aesthet-ics with engineering and technology to tackle problems you encounter during the creation process. Through learning and applying the basics of circuit design and robotic coding, your mini robot empowered by Arduino can dance with music!

• Fee includes materials, excludes protective gloves and safety goggles, which are to be prepared by students

人有興趣，也可以從零開始設計及製作，並為迷你機械人設計獨特

造型，享受親自動手創造的樂趣。

此為我們在「設計思考」中的STEAM主打課程－以藝術美感結合

工程、科技元素嘗試解決製作時面對的不同困難。透過了解電路操

作及編寫簡單的程式指令，並採用Arduino硬件技術，你的機械人

會按指令配以音效跳出獨特的舞步！
