Go, Tell It On The Mountain REFREIN:

Go, tell it on the mountain Over the hills and everywhere

Go, tell it on the mountain Our Jesus Christ is born

    1 When I was just a learner

I sought by night and day I asked the Lord to help me,

and He showed me the way: REFREIN: Go, tell it on the mountain

2 The shepherds kept their watching

    O`er silent flocks by night

Behold! throughout the heavens There shone a holy light

3 The shepherds feared and trembled

When high above the earth Rang out an angels` chorus

To hail our Savior`s birth REFREIN: Go, tell it on the mountain

4 Down in a lowly manger,

the humble Christ was born. And God sent out salvation

    that blessed Christmas morn.

Go, tell it on the mountain Over the hills and everywhere

Go, tell it on the mountain

    Our Jesus Christ is born

That Je - sus Christ is born

Have yourself a merry little Christmas

Have yourself a merry little Christmas

    Let your heart be light

From now on your troubles will be out of sight,

Have yourself a merry little Christmas

    Make the Yuletide gay

From now on your troubles will be miles away,

Here we are as in olden days

    Happy golden days of yore,

Faithful friends who are dear to us

Gather near to us, once more,

Someday soon we all will be together

    If the fates allow

Hang a shining star upon the highest bough,

And have yourself a merry little Christmas now

Here we are as in olden days

    Happy golden days of yore,

Faithful friends who are dear to us

Gather near to us, once more, ohh

Through the years we all will be together

    If the fates allow,

But 'til then we'll have to muddle through, somehow

So have yourself a merry little Christmas now

IT'S GONNA BE A COLD CHRISTMAS WITHOUT

    YOU

    According to the radio

Warmer weather is on the way

The chances are we won't be getting snow

But even if the sun shines

    From now to Christmas day

As far as I'm concerned I know

It's gonna be a cold, cold Christmas without you

Dreaming of those warm, warm, lazy summer days

It's gonna be a long and lonely Christmas without you

Missing you my darling in oh so many ways

Yesterday I saw your mum and dad

    We bought our cards together

I fit the presents at the Christmas tree

And as I write this letter

It's warm inside; the log fire's burning bright

Oh darling if only you were here to make it right

It's gonna be a cold, cold Christmas without you

Dreaming of those warm, warm, lazy summer days

It's gonna be a long and lonely Christmas without you

Missing you my darling in oh so many ways

I didn't bother with the mistletoe

You won't be here to kiss me

The only consolation that I've got

I know for sure you'll miss me

It won't be long until you're home again

And we can share these magic moments

    But 'til then

It's gonna be a cold, cold Christmas without you

Dreaming of those warm, warm, lazy summer days

It's gonna be a long and lonely Christmas without you

Missing you my darling in oh so many ways

Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell rock

Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell rock

Jingle bell swing and jingle bells ring

Snowin' and blowin' up bushels of fun

Now the jingle hop has begun

Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock

Jingle bells chime and jingle bells time

Dancin' and prancin' in Jingle Bell Square

    In the frosty air.

What a bright time, it's the right time to rock the night away

Jingle bell time is a swell time,

To go ridin' in a one-horse sleigh

Giddy-up jingle horse, pick up your feet

    Jingle around the clock

Mix and mingle in a jinglin' beat

    That's the jingle bell rock!

    Joy to the World

Joy to the World , the Lord is come!

    Let earth receive her King;

Let every heart prepare Him room,

    And Heaven and nature sing,

    And Heaven and nature sing,

And Heaven, and Heaven, and nature sing.

Joy to the World, the Savior reigns!

    Let men their songs employ;

While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains

    Repeat the sounding joy,

    Repeat the sounding joy,

    Repeat, repeat, the sounding joy.

No more let sins and sorrows grow,

    Nor thorns infest the ground;

He comes to make His blessings flow

Far as the curse is found,

Far as the curse is found,

Far as, far as, the curse is found.

He rules the world with truth and grace,

    And makes the nations prove

    The glories of His righteousness,

    And wonders of His love,

    And wonders of His love,

And wonders, wonders, of His love.

    Wham! - Last Christmas

Last Christmas, I gave you my heart But the very next day you gave it away

This year, to save me from tears I'll give it to someone special

Last Christmas, I gave you my heart

But the very next day you gave it away

This year, to save me from tears I'll give it to someone special

    Once bitten and twice shy

I keep my distance But you still catch my eye

Tell me baby Do you recognize me?

Well, it's been a year It doesn't surprise me

I wrapped it up and sent it With a note saying "I love you" I meant it

Now I know what a fool I've been But if you kissed me now

I know you'd fool me again

Last Christmas, I gave you my heart

But the very next day you gave it away This year, to save me from tears

I'll give it to someone special

Last Christmas, I gave you my heart But the very next day you gave it away

This year, to save me from tears I'll give it to someone special

A crowded room, friends with tired eyes

I'm hiding from you, and your soul of ice My god I thought you were someone to rely on,

Me? I guess I was a shoulder to cry on

A face on a lover with a fire in his heart A man under cover but you tore me apart

Now I've found a real love you'll never fool me again

Last Christmas, I gave you my heart But the very next day you gave it away

This year, to save me from tears I'll give it to someone special

Let It Snow Oh the weather outside is frightful

But the fire is so delightful Since we've no place to go

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

It doesn't show signs of stopping And I've brought some corn for popping

The lights are turned down low Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

    When we finally kiss goodnight

How I'll hate going out in a storm

But if you really hold me tight All the way home I'll be warm

    The fire is slowly dying

And my dear we're still goodbying As long as you love me so

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

    When we've finally say goodnight

How I'll hate going out in a storm But if you'll only hold me tight

All the way home I'll be warm

Oh, the fire is slowing dying

And my dear we're still good-byeing But as long as you'd love me so

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

Harry Belafonte - Mary's Boy Child

Long time ago in Bethlehem, So the Holy Bible say,

Mary's boy child, Jesus Christ, Was born on Christmas day,

Hark, now hear the angels sing,

A newborn King today, And man will live forevermore,

Because of Christmas day. Trumpets sound and angels sing,

Listen to what they say, That Man will live forevermore,

    Because of Christmas day.

While shepherds watched their flocks by night, They saw a bright new shining star,

    They heard a choir sing,

The music seemed to come from afar,

Now, Joseph and his wife, Mary, Come to Bethlehem that night,

They found no place to bear her child, Not a single room was in sight.

Hark, now hear the angels sing............

By and by, they find a little nook,

    In a stable all forlorn,

And in a manger cold and dark, Mary's litlle Boy was born!

    Long time ago in Bethlehem,

So the Holy Bible say, Mary's boy child, Jesus Christ,

    Was born on Christmas day,

Hark, now hear the angels sing............

"Once In Royal David's City" Once in royal David's city,

Stood a lowly cattle shed, Where a mother laid her baby

In a manger for His bed: Mary was that mother mild,

    Jesus Christ her little child.

He came down to earth from heaven,

Who is God and Lord of all, And His shelter was a stable,

    And His cradle was a stall;

With the poor and meek and lowly, Lived on earth our Savior holy.

And through all His wondrous childhood,

He would honor and obey, Love and watch the lowly mother,

In whose gentle arms He lay. Christian children all should be,

    Mild, obedient, good as He.

For He is our child-hood's pattern,

Day by day like us He grew,

He was little, weak, and helpless, Tears and smiles like us He knew,

And He feeleth for our sadness, And He shareth in our gladness.

    Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer

    Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer

    had a very shiny nose

and if you ever saw it

you would even say it glows.

    All of the other reindeer

used to laugh and call him names

    They never let poor Rudolph

    join in any reindeer games.

    Then one foggy Christmas eve

    Santa came to say:

"Rudolph with your nose so bright,

won't you guide my sleigh tonight?"

Then all the reindeer loved him

as they shouted out with glee,

    Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer,

    you'll go down in history!

    You better not cry

    You better not pout

    I'm telling you why

    He's checking it twice

    He's gonna find out

    He knows when you're awake

    You better not cry

    You better not pout

    SILVER BELLS

    City sidewalks, busy sidewalks

    Dressed in holiday style

    In the air

    There's a feeling of Christmas

    Children laughing

    People passing

    Meeting smile after smile

And on every street corner you'll hear

    Silver bells, silver bells

It's Christmas time in the city

    Ring-a-ling, hear them ring

Soon it will be Christmas day

    Strings of street lights

    Even stop lights

Blink a bright red and green

As the shoppers rush home with their treasures

    Hear the snow crunch

    See the kids bunch

    This is Santa's big scene

    And above all this bustle

    You'll hear

    Silver bells, silver bells

It's Christmas time in the city

    Ring-a-ling, hear them ring

Soon it will be Christmas day

    Bing Crosby - White Christmas

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas

Just like the ones I used to know

Where the treetops glisten and children listen

To hear sleighbells in the snow

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas

With every Christmas card I write

May your days be merry and bright

And may all your Christmases be white

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas

With every Christmas card I write

May your days be merry and bright

And may all your Christmases be white

    Winter Wonderland

Sleigh bells ring, are you listening

In the lane, snow is glist`nin`

A beautiful sight, we're happy tonight

    Walking in a winter wonderland

Gone away is the blue bird

Here to stay is a new bird

He sings a love song, as we go along

    Walkin` in a winter wonderland

In the meadow we can build a snowman

Then pretend that he is Parson Brown

    He'll say "are you married?"

    We'll say "no man!

But you can do the job when you're in town"

Later on we'll conspire, as we dream by the fire

To face unfraid, the plans that we've made

    Walking in a winter wonderland

In the meadow we can build a snowman

And pretend that he's a circus clown

We'll have lots of fun with Mister Snowman

Until the other kiddies knock him down

When it snows ain't it trilling

    Tho`your nosse gets a chilling

We'll frolic and play, the eskimo way

Walkin` in a winter wonder land

We'll frolic and play, the eskimo way

    Walking.......in a winter wonderland.
