NORMACEL ® CASSETTE makes the work with medium voltage Switchgear simpler, flexible and economical. NORMACEL ® CASSETTE compact design is ideal for the replacement of obsolete circuit-breakers in existing switchboards. NORMACEL ® CASSETTE gives the opportunity to all panel makers to build a personalised switchboard. NORMACEL ® CASSETTE is totally sheet steel enclosed design, using standard cubicle units and withdrawable circuit breakers. NORMACEL ® CASSETTE, being aware of the increasing needs concerning people and equipment protection, took into consideration the following features on NORMACEL ® CASSETTE development: • Safety and high reliability • Active and passive protection systems • Simple and secure operations • Compact design • Totally front operated • Functional flexibility • Reduced dimensions • Long mechanical and electrical life • Wide range of applications • Excellent performances CONSTRUCTION • Withdrawable vacuum circuit breaker suitable to be installed in a metalclad cubicle. • NORMACEL ® CASSETTE structure, inclu-ding front door, is reinforced in order to be internal arc resistant. • Operation of all equipment frontally: - Circuit-breaker is moved into the service or test-position with the door closed. - Final positions are reached through a clutch system, independent from the operator. - Quick-make earthing switches (with making capacity). • Earthing switch, status is easily visible through the front control panel. • Suitable for all types of cable terminations INSTALLATION NORMACEL ® CASSETTE switchgear is simple and quick to install. The Instruction Manual distributed with each panel describes the required procedures. Technical services are available for additional support.
