SAMENVATTING

Het dossier bevat gerangscNkte en genummerde artikelen uit de literatuur op het ge* bied van: 1 - Kickers: snel schakelende, (electro-)magnetische of electrostatische componenten met geringe afbuiging; 2 - Septum Magneten: zowel gering als sterk afbuigende componenten, met het doel ruimte te scheppen of te overbruggen tussen de afgebogen bundel en de andere, on­gestoorde bundel; 3- Electrostatische Septa: met gering verlies bundetspiijtende componenten, die het geëxtraheerde deel gering afbuigen, zonder verstoring voor de rest van de bundel.

Rangschikking van de artikelen heeft plaatsgevonden per instituut of laboratorium, met een eventuele verdere rangschikking naar project Vervolgens zqn de artikelen in chro­nologische volgorde genummerd. In de nummering is rekening gehouden met een uitbreiding van het dossier. De inhoud van de artftelen is door middel van trefwoorden samengevat. Specificaties van de beschreven kickers, septum magneten en elektrostatische septa zijn in tabel­vorm weergegeven.

SUMMARY

The File consists of classified and numbered articles from the literature on the following subjects: 1 - Kickers: fast switching (electro-)magnetic or electrostatic components for small deflection; 2 - Septum Magnets: both small and great deflecting components, with the purpose to create or bridge over space between the deflected beam and the other, unperturbed beam; 3 - Electrostatic Septa: low loss, beam splitting components which give small deflection for the extracted part of the beam and no perturbation for the rest of the beam.

The articles have been classified per institute or laboratory, eventually with further clas­sification per project. The classified articles are then numbered chronologically. Exten­sion of the File is still possible. The contents of the articles are summarized by means of catchwords. Specifications of the described kickers, septum magnets and electrostatic septa are represented in a tabular form.
