Abigails Interests Since a young age, she was taught to read and write and with an extensive collection of classic literature, government and law. Her Perspective Abigail Adams had a very different view from her husbands. Through out her lifetime, she dedicated her time to seek for equality and power for women to be the same as men. I cannot say that I think you very generous to the ladies, for whilst you are proclaiming peace and good will to men, emancipation all nations, you insist upon retaining an absolute power over wives.
