    InstallationNote: Shipping containers shouldnot be opened until an AgilentTechnologies representative is present

    Purpose: To ensure that instrumentsand systems are correctly installedand functioning as designed, in thecustomer's facility. Correctinstallation is the first step inensuring that instruments andsystems operate reliably over anextended lifetime.

    G1310A/11A/12A – Pump

      Section NOT Applicable   Unpack all boxes and place equipment on bench. To prevent injury, get liftingassistance if needed.

    Customer Responsibilities The customer should ensure that theinstallation site is prepared inaccordance with the specificationscontained in the relevant site preparation document and that thenecessary operating supplies,consumables and usage dependentitems such as vials, paper, solvents,etc. are available. A customerrepresentative should be present atall times during the installation.

    Note: Typical installation time is

    1.5 hours for a system and 30

    minutes for a module.

      If a G1315C-DAD or G1365C-MWD is added to an existing1100 system, all modules must be upgraded to firmwarerevision A.06.xx using theLAN/RS-232 FW Update Tool2.00 according to the updatedocumentation.
