Process:First, I put the Hanoi ower photo in Photoshop so I can cut out the background ortext wrapping. Second, I drew a simply logo sia travel with Illustrator. Ten, I go toInDesign, create a new document and start making curves with pen tool and create agood visual flow. Next, I put the photos in to fill the shapes. Ten I put in the text that Ihave written out beore. Ten I add title Discover VIENAM with two different ont tocontrast. Finally, I put in the text-wrap image.

Process:I first drew some sketches o my layout then put it in InDesign. I split the content intoour blocks and tilted the lines to make the design more interesting. I apply colors toeach block to contrast and to lead my audience in the right direction. Te first blockwith the title I make the title black and the back ground white to contrast. I make thesecond block with image is the biggest block because I think people love images. I madethe arms o the model in the photo to point the audience to the third block. I made thebackground in this block black with white text to contrast and draw attention rom the

audience. And the last block I added the rest o the inormation.

Objectives:Learn to manage Photoshop layers.Learn to blend images together smoothly, using masks.Use filters.

Process:First, I make a text document o all the words I want to use. Ten, I put the image oChrist to a new blank document in Photoshop. Ten I lower the opacity o the image to30% and start putting on the lines words on the image so they lined up with the image.I broke the grid with some lines to create more interest. Ten, I masked back the image.Next, duplicated it and flatten the image afer adding a white background. I then copiedit to another blank document with 8.5 x 11 inches. Finally, I masked the blue texture onor finish.

Objectives:Demonstrate good photography and image editing skills.

Incorporating color into a design layout with original photo.

Process:First, I chose the color scheme or the project which is complementary with lime andviolet. I used a 4i rebel CANON camera to take the picture with close ocus. Ten, Iused Photoshop to put some touch on the color balance, level, and saturation to makethe photo fit my color scheme. Next, in a new document, I used pen tool and maskingtechnique to make the white curves and spit the image into 4. Ten, I put my text in andmake the violet and curved line with pen tool and brush to create a good flow to theimage. I used eye dropper tool to pick up the colors in the photo to create repetition andunification to the design. Finally, I put in my swatches and color scheme to ollow the

small curves I had made to fit it into the whole design.

Objectives:Find, scan, and import a high-quality image.

Create a ull-bleed design.Use text boxes or layout in Word.Insert and edit images in Word.

Process:First, I used the scanner to scan the image in this ad rom a magazine and put it toWord in a Mac. Ten, I created many text box or each o the words in the title to makethem align them better. I created an inverted back arrow shape to hang the title, thedate/time/place on. I also made a red arrow shape that fits into the black arrow andmade the shapes a tiny bit transparent. I also added another triangle in the bottom toadd extra inormation or the ad.

Programs/Tools:Adobe Illustrator

Objectives:Create a variety o logos to fit a company or personal image.Use the basic tools o Illustrator.

Process:First, I used Adobe Illustrator to make these logos. Te first logo I made black and whitecircles overlapping. Ten I choose a un ont to type my initial dp then use pen toolsto make it so it looks like a ace with the eyes looking up (thinking eyes). Ten I addedtypography. Ten I delete all the white shape to make the logo clean and I can use it aswatermarks or uture works Te second logo I drew the shutter o the camera with ablack circle, a white hexagon and white lines. Ten I make it in to shapes and removesthe white shapes. For the word PHAN is invert the color to create contrast. For the lastlogo I just use typography and alignment to make it.

Process:First, I ormulate a plan to create the logo by incorporating the amous symbol o HanoiCity (the temple o literature) into a C in cuisine. Once Im done with the logo I putit in another Illustrator document and add more elements to create good flow in thedesign. Te flowery thing I created using pen tool to trace an image rom the internetand adding some details that I like. I unified the design using the same color scheme Iused or the logo. Afer I finish creating the business card (ront and back) I save it in anInDesign file to display and or later edit.

Process:Afer I created the logo and the business card, I open a new Illustrator document tomake the letterhead. Ten, I started to move the same vector objects rom the businesscard to the letterhead to create unification between the business card and the letterhead.Next, I added some lines to create more alignment in the design. Finally, I added awatermark using the trademark logo.

Programs/Tools:Notepad+++

Objectives:Size and optimize an original logo as a png. or a webpage.Design a web page using HML to display a logo and content.

Aquire basic understanding o HML and CSS.Identiy hex colors or web design.

Process:First, I attached a pre-made CSS document to my HML. Ten, I incorporate the colorso the logo to put it on the rest o the page. I ound these colors by opening Photoshopand using the eyedropper tool.I added contrast onts. Ten I added padding andmargin. I just played around with the size so everything look. Ten, I add a little touchwith the link to make the color look right beore you click the link, when you click onit, and afer you click it. Finally, I added a background that I made using Illustrator. Temost challenging part o this project is not knowing enough about HML and CSS to

have a complete control o the design.
