The Brothers and Sons logo was developed to ref lect the de-
sign aesthet ics of the brand. Inspired by the aesthet ics of Bau-
haus movement , the logo expresses the brands rebel l iousness &
“breaking the standards” way of thinking.

with the brand’s
products we used 2 key
consumer touchpoints:
photography and video.

exploratory nature of Van Gi ls , but is based
on their proud history. Van Gi ls has been in
business for 70 years , which is a l i fet ime
wor th of memories and experiences. What i f
we could transfer these experiences onto the
next generat ion?
VA N G I L S
Every father has old suits
in his closet that he doesn’t
wear anymore. These suits
contain a l i fet ime wor th of
memories, a f i rst job, mar-
r iage, tears and laughter,
but they al l end up in the
trash. Fathers can br ing in
their old suits , which Van
Gi ls is going to repurpose
and make new threads of.
These threads are then be-
ing used in the f i rst suit a
young man gets from his
father. A son wi l l l i teral ly
wear his father ’s experienc-
es, which wi l l make his f i rst
suit even more special .

A D V E RT I S I N GKickoff for the ‘Parapaard kent geen
beperkingen’ campaign. The campaign was
developed to introduce the Parapaard
foundation to the publ ic and premiered at
Jumping Amsterdam.
