Waconia Area Gaming Society48+ members strong in 2018-2019, come join the fun! Have you ever piloted a spaceship in a desperate battle to save humanity? Hunted orcs in the wild? Built a railroad empire? Visited the third moon of Zantos, or held the hot gates against the Persians with a small band of Spartans? We have! Join us for a monthly dose of fun, dice rolling, and adventure! The Waconia Area Gaming Society (WAGs) off ers a once-a-month opportunity to do something diff erent! We are a group of local board and strategy game fans who enjoy any excuse to break out our table-top, role-playing, and miniature games with friends old and new. Some of the games we have played in the past: Risk, Pathfi nder, Firefl y, Heroclix, Settlers of Catan, FUDGE, Battletech, Axis and Allies, Agricola, and Arkham. We meet the fi rst Saturday of the month and usually decide a month ahead of time what we will play on game day. Due to the complexity of some of the games we may play, we ask that attendees be at least ten years old. Our only other requirements are that you abide by our three simple rules: 1) All attendees will bring a drink and snack to share. 2) The judge appointed for the game has the fi nal say--no arguments. 3) Have fun! We hope that you will come and join us on our grand adventures through time, space, and… pizza! Caution: Getting involved in this group may cause you to laugh, smile and have a good time. Your spirits may be raised. You may make new friends. Please note, the Waconia Area Gaming Society is not responsible for spaceship crashes, goblin invasions, or outbreaks of Munchkinitis. No helmets necessary.

Adult Enrichment & TripsThe Dixie Swim Club Trip No April Fools on this one! After lunch on your own at Maynard’s, we’re on our way to the Old Log Theater for The Dixie Swim Club. This touching comedy centers around fi ve Southern women who became friends on their college swim team. The group sets aside a long weekend every August to recharge their relationships. Free from husbands, kids and jobs, they meet at the same beach cot-tage on North Carolina's Outer Banks to catch up, laugh and meddle in each other's lives. The play begins 22 years after they graduate from college. The Dixie Swim Club focuses on four of those weekends and spans a period of thirty-three years. As their lives unfold and the years pass, these women increasingly rely on one another, through advice and raucous repartee, to get through the challeng-es (men, sex, marriage, parenting, divorce and aging) that life fl ings at them. And when fate throws a wrench into one of their lives in the second act, these friends, proving the enduring power of 'teamwork', rally around their own with the strength and love that takes this comedy in a poi-gnant and surprising direction. It is really a study in friend-ship and how it grows and changes through the years.

Shear Madness TripReady for a little “improv” and to help solve a mystery? This looks to be really fun! We’re going to the St. Croix Off Broadway Theatre at the Hudson House where we’ll begin with an included dinner. Then it’s time for Shear Madness, one of the most popular productions in the world, de-lighting audiences night after night with its unique blend of madcap improvisation and spine-tickling mystery. This unique comedy-whodunit takes place today in the “Shear Madness” hairstyling salon and is chock full of up-to-the-minute spontaneous humor. During the course of the action, a murder is committed and the audience gets to spot the clues, question the suspects, and solve the funniest mystery in the annals of crime. The outcome is never the same, which is why many audience mem-bers return again and again to the scene of the mayhem.
