included direct patient care as well as supervision of both licensed

and unlicensed personnel for a 30-bed medical/surgical unit. Other

responsibilities included staff evaluations, patient education,

staff educational activities, new employee orientation, unit

liaison/consultant activities, and quality assurance and improvement

activities.
