This walk takes you through the valley landscape of the Dyle and Ijse Rivers and is a patchwork of small

fields and wetland forest, brushwood and reed beds, ponds and canals. The Doode Bemde is one of the

most stunning green jewels of the Dyle River Valley. Climb up to Margijs Wood where some of the slopes

transform into a sea of bluebells in the spring. Don’t forget your wellies. It can get soggy out there. Finish

off your walk with a tasty pint at the De Kroon brewery.
