Citaat: Wilcken, Chrest. 15, Intr.
gefhrten Judenkrieg ().

Citaat: CPJ II 437, regel 3-4 noot (1960) The terrified
exclamation of Eudaimonis () has sometimes been referred to the
story of the Jewish atrocities, cannibalism included, told by Dio
Cass. 68.32. We have not enough information to clarify the question
of Jewish atrocities committed in the revolt. It should, however,
be pointed out that the utterances of the contemporary Eudaimonis
are no more reliable evidence than the late, clearly anti-Semitic,
story of Dio-Xiphilinos (). [The letters by Eudaimonis] show
clearly that the irascable old lady, who sometimes revolts against
gods () and apostrophizes her fellow men, used rather extravagant
expressions. ().
