DescriptionWATERREPELL SNL is consist of a reactive Oligomer Siloxane solution which provides

serves to render inorganic substrates such as mineral construction materials water repellent

and oil repellent. WATERREPELL SNL is highly alkali stable, i.e. the substrate to be

impregnated may have pH value up to 14 without impairing its effect. Unlike other impregnating

agents, which display only water-repellent effect, WATERREPELL SNL also exhibits an

oleophobic, i.e. oil repellent effect. Oil, grease and paint etc. can be more easily removed from

surfaces that have been treated with WATERREPELL SNL. WATERREPELL SNL has very

good penetration capacity and reacts chemically in the building material in presence of

humidity, converting into a water repelling, UV-Light stable and weather resistant ingredient.

After application, the active ingredients are deposited as macro-molecular layer on the capillary

and pore walls without impairing water vapour diffusion capacity. Surfaces of building materials

treated with WATERREPELL SNL have much less tendency to soil. Resistance to frost and

de-acing salts is improved, helping to reduce loss of energy.

Uses Treatment of facades of natural or synthetic stone, concrete or fibrous cement

in order to allow easier removal of dirt, grease etc. from monuments, exterior

and interior walls.

WATERREPELL SNL is used for hydrophobizing impregnation of porous

mineral building materials such as fair-faced brick masonary work, sand lime

brick, mineral renders, aerated concrete and light weight concrete.

Water, oil and dirt repellent treatment of low porosity natural stone, e.g. marble,

travertine and granite.

Treatment of floors of natural or synthetic stone, or unglazed ceramic tiles for

easy care.
