Its compact size combined with its wideband performance makes this antenna extreme ly versatile and discreet. A slight uptilt to the antenna radiation patterns mean that peak gain is acheived slighlty above the horizon, excellent for communication to aircraft or from aircraft to ground. A resonable gain performance on the horizon also ensures that the antenna has a wide range of other potential applications.
