    To our CPs and fellow IPSF colleagues,

    On behalf of the Internaonal Pharmaceucal Students

    Federaon (IPSF)s humanitarian subcommiee, I am

    wring to invite you and your associaon to join us for

    this years Vampire Cup project, an internaonal blood

    donaon drive.

    Donang blood is a very important acon that canmake a large impact in a community. Each unit of blood

    can help save up to three lives.

    The IPSFs humanitarian subcommiee recognizes how

    blood donaon is a lifesaving outreach that can be

    easily performed by many members of the community,

    but is oen under recognized. In an eort to encourage

    blood donaon, IPSF will be hosng our rst annualInternaonal Vampire Cup, blood donaon drive.

    We are inving all associaons to join us in this

    worthwhile internaonal project. We welcome

    pharmacy associaons to join in all capacies and

    encourage you to consider running your own blood

    donaon drive as this is a simple project that can

    benet many people.

    In order to beer support your blood donaon

    drive, our humanitarian subcommiee has prepared

    a campaign kit, which will hopefully help you in the

    planning of your own Vampire Cup.

    As pharmacy students, we have the knowledge that the simple

    act of blood donaon saves lives. By promong and sharing thisknowledge we can help others to save lives too!

    Blood transfusions are required in a range

    of condions ranging from Sickle Cell

    disease to cancer and trac accidents.

    By raising awareness for the importance

    of blood donaon we can benet allthese paent groups.

    in conjuncon with

    other campaign

    materials and

    will collecvelyprovide you with

    informaon on

    how to organise

    and establish your

    own blood donaon

    campaigns.
