Bring a globe to class and/or picturesof earth’s surfaces from the past to thepresent. Have them to describe the pictures.Lesson Proper:Ask the students to name the three elementsof nature and to explain how they can changethe Earth’s surface.

Show the pictures of mountains, plateaus,and other landforms. Have the students todefine ”landform” based on the shownpictures.

Let them give more examples of landformsand their descriptions.

Ask them to state some land resources andexplain their importance.

Ask them to suggest some ways on how theycan conserve the land resources.

STRUCTURE OF THE EARTHMotivation/Warmer.

Bring a model showing the earth’sstructure.Lesson Proper:Let the students name and come to the frontof the class to point the structure of the earthbeing described by the teacher.

by the teacher.Discussion on natural compounds, examplesof natural elements, how to write chemicalequation for the composition of ironcarbonate by heat and copper sulphide byheat.

Give the students more exercises to answerabout writing equation in words.

Discussion on reactions between metals andnon-metals; properties of metals; propertiesof non-metals.

Ask the students to answer pages 94-96 of their workbook.
