BODYWORKS

Innovative shapes are made valuable thanks to great

unctional style:

the side panel design integrates the tank panel and number

boards into one unit. This allows immediate access to the

main mechanical parts; airbox, rear suspension, throttle

body and also provides to the rider reedom o movement

without any intererence on legs and boots.

The new tank is made o two separate units. One section

o 6.5 litre capacity mounted under the seat, containing

the battery mount and one section mounted behind the

cylinder. This second part, o 2 liters capacity, is made

o transparent material or easy monitoring o uel level.

The uel pump is completely immersed in it, giving 100%

o capacity availability. The uel cap is placed between the

seat and the rear ender and also has a protection against

dirt.

Husqvarna put all its long lasting off road know-how in the new 449/511

equipping it with a double camshaft 4 valves engine with two different

timing for the camshaft adapted specifically for Enduro and MX use.

Enlarged cylinder bore for the TE 511 version giving a capacity of 480 cc.

Power delivery is managed through a Keihin electronic injection system,

with throttle body:

double flap of 46mm diameter combined with a 6 speed gearbox

for smooth and progressive power delivery for enduro version.

single flapof 46mm diameter combined with a 5 speed gearbox for

lightning fast throttle response for the cross version TC449.

CTS is not only Coaxial Traction System, but it means above

all Control, Traction and Stability. A simple solution with clear

advantages provided by the specifc layout.

Coaxial Traction System is the patented solution chosen by

Husqvarna where the sprocket and the swingarm pivot pin

share the same axis.

With this technology the chain tension is always consistent

whatever position the rear wheel takes in all its travel.

CONTROL: rear load transer in acceleration is signifcantly

reduced.

TRACTION:no traction loss caused by throttle actions and more

uniorm motion transer to the rear wheel.

STABILITY:rear wheel vertical movement decreases giving the

rider an exceptional easy ride eeling.

FRAME The double cradle, steel rame oers outstanding torsional rigidity

coupled with the closed structure layout which minimizes shock transer.

LINKAGEThe rear suspension geometry, with the linkage mounted above the

swingarm provides higher ground clearance, improved reliability and easeo maintenance.

SUSPENSIONSuspension is completely managed by Kayaba with 48mm USD,

ully adjustable and with a compact rear shock absorber, designed specifcally

to compliment the new linkage design.

The rear shock action combined with the new link provides more progressive

shock absorption, allowing the wheel to better ollow the contours o the

ground and stabilize the rear end in every phase o the ride.

BRAKES Premier class braking thanks to the new high perorming Brembo

system with oating calipers, a 260mm wave ront disc and a 240mm wave

rear disc.
