    Conclusion

Before you start working in a social project, it might be wise to consider a fewthings: most of the time the organization of your project isnt really that what we,Europeans, are used to. The workers of the day care centre will be veryenthusiastic to receive you, but may not know exactly what to do with you, because they lack a special education.

The Ecuadorian culture has other norms and values than the ones were usedto, which could lead to confusion or irritation. All help is more than welcome, although it may seems little to you: The projects are very happy that you takethe effort to come to help them: Show a lot of initiative and accept that thingswork slower at your project. By doing so, youll have a great time!!!

Good luck at your project! When you dont like the project or you have problemsor you just want to communicate with us, dont hesitate to call us: (02) 601 4757office (Monday till Friday 08:30-17:30), or09 9729 190 mobile, outside officehours.
