EMSA – ELEKTROCHEMISCHESMULTISENSORARRAY
Motivation
Das in keramischen Technologien gefertigte
EMSA ermöglicht parallele elektrochemische
Messungen zur Charakterisierung von Ana-
lyten oder Additiven in 16 Zellen mit Drei-
Elektroden-Anordnung. Mit einem
integriertem Heizer steht neben Potential
und Strom ein weiterer Parameter für ein
Hochdurchsatz-Screening zur Verfügung.
Ergebnisse
- 3D-Aufbau in LTCC-Technologie
- Siebdruck von Elektroden (Au und
Ag/AgCl, Pt, Ag, C), integrierter Heizung
und Leiterbahnen
- Elektrochemische Charakterisierung mit-
tels Zyklovoltammetrie
Vorteile
- Miniaturisierung
- Parallelisierung von Messungen
- Hohe Empfindlichkeit
- Variables Elektrodenlayout
Applikationen
- Chemisch/Biochemische Analytik
- Hochdurchsatzscreening z. B. für Additive
(Galvanik)
- Umwelttechnik
- Medizintechnik

EMSA – ELECTROCHEMICALMULTISENSOR ARRAY
Motivation
Manufactured fully in ceramic technologies
the electrochemical multisensor array allows
parallel measurements for the characteriza-
tion of analytes or additives in 16 cells with
a three-electrode arrangement. An inte-
grated heating system offers the possibility
for another parameter for high thoughput
screening besides potential and current.
Results
- 3-dimensional structure in LTCC technol-
ogy
- Screen-printed electrodes (Au and
Ag/AgCl, Pt, Ag, C), integrated heating
system and conductors
- Electrochemical characterization by
means of cyclic voltammetry
Advantages
- Miniaturization
- Parallel measurements
- High sensitivity
- Variable electrode layout
Applications
- Chemical/biochemical analysis
- High throughput screening e.g. additives
(electroplating)
- Enviromental engineering
- Medical engineering
