Rated capacity: Maximum load thatcan be lifted at a given distance. Aplate specifying the load value islocated close to the point of appli-cation.

Residual capacity: Load that canbe carried on the truck body oncompletion of the machine.

Standard set-up: Crane withoutoptional extras.

- E' obbligatorio leggere le istruzioni contenute nel manuale Uso e Manutenzione prima di operare con la gru- La manovra e l'uso della gru sono riservati solo a personale qualificato.- La gru deve lavorare su terreno consistente , controllare la planarità sull'apposito strumento.- Prima di mettere in funzione la gru accertarsi del corretto funzionamento dei dispositivi di sicurezza e dei livelli dei fluidi.- Frenare l'autocarro e bloccare le ruote , estrarre completamente tutte le aste stabilizzatrici in dotazione , bloccarle in posizione di lavoro , posizionare gli stabilizzatori e bloccarli , chiudere i rubinetti sugli stessi.- Prima dell'inizio di ogni operazione accertarsi che non vi sia alcuno nella zona di manovra della gru.- Manovrare sempre assumendo la posizione prevista per l'azionamento dei comandi ed in modo da avere la migliore visibilità del campo di lavoro.- Avvisare dell'inizio delle manovre con opportune segnalazioni.- Verificare che il carico sollevato non superi i valori riportati sulla targa delle portate , che il gancio e gli eventuali accessori di sollevamento siano in buono stato e che l'imbracatura del carico sia sicura.- Evitare di far oscillare il carico ; evitare tiri obliqui.- Evitare il sollevamento ed il trasporto dei carichi sopra zone di lavoro e di transito. Quando ciò non possa essere evitato avvertire con apposita segnalazione sia l'inizio della manovra che il passaggio del carico.- Mantenere la prescritta distanza dalle linee elettriche.- Bloccare con l'apposito perno le prolunghe meccaniche in posizione di lavoro prima del loro utilizzo.- La portata di sollevamento delle prolunghe manuali è fissa in qualunque configurazione della gru.- Le prolunghe manuali non utilizzate devono essere smontate.- E' vietato manomettere la apparecchiature elettriche , idrauliche e le protezioni in dotazione.- E' vietato il sollevamento di persone.- Non usare il dispositivo di arresto di emergenza per fermare una manovra normale.- In caso di manovra d'emergenza e/o blocco del limitatore manovrare con gradualità ed in modo da avvicinare il carico a terra e verso l'asse di rotazione.- Nella fase di chiusura della gru porre attenzione al passaggio del braccio gru sul posto di comando.- Prima di abbandonare il posto di manovra richiudere completamente la gru , gli stabilizzatori e bloccarli in posizione di trasferimento , disinserire l'interruttore generale.

Duties:Reference is made here solely to the

operator’s duties connected withoperation of the crane, rangingfrom activation of the power circuitand operation of the various fea-tures to the assembly/disassem-bly of the optional extras and main-tenance work.

The operator must therefore be fullyaware of the safety rules and de-vices and must also be familiarwith the use of the operating con-trols and load harnessing tech-niques.

Responsibilities:The operator is directly responsible

for the operation and correct func-tioning of the crane, for its mainte-nance, for the load being handledand for every action he performsin the context of the duties referredto above.

Attributions:Dans ce contexte on se réfère uni-

quement aux attributions de l’opé-rateur, correspondant à l’utilisationde la grue, qui vont de la mise enservice du circuit de puissance enpassant par le fonctionnement desdifférents organes, aux montage/démontage des options, jusqu’àl’entretien.

L’opérateur doit donc connaître par-faitement les consignes de sécu-rité et les dispositifs relatifs, l’utili-sation des commandes de fonc-tionnement et les techniquesd’élingage des charges.

tion and the ability to perform safe-ly all the tasks required to operatethe crane. He must not be affect-ed by disorders or disabilities andhis faculties must not be impairedby the taking of drugs and/or alco-hol.

MentalAbility to understand and apply the

rules, regulations and safety pre-cautions. He must be alert and usehis judgement to ensure his ownsafety and that of others. He mustwant to do the job correctly andresponsibly.

EmotionalHe must be calm, able to withstand

stress and able to use his judge-ment to assess his physical andmental condition.

TrainingHe must have read, studied and un-

derstood this manual, as well asthe charts and diagrams and thewarning plates and notices. Priorto beginning any lifting operationwith the crane, he must be famil-iar with the use of the controls andthe associated movements, andmust have carried out dry runswithout any load applied.

He must have a licence (if requiredby law).

Recommended clothing:Safety helmet, gloves, accident-pre-

vention shoes, protective goggles.

Ne jamais laisser le poste de com-mande avec une charge levée, ousi la machine est en service.

Interdire à des tiers de passer ou destationner à proximité de la grue.

Il faut toujours installer la machineen sortant complètement les tigesde stabilisation et en reposant lesvérins stabilisateurs au sol, sansdécharger complètement les sus-pensions du camion.

La grue doit être installée sur un soldur.

En cas de sol mou ou friable il fautaugmenter la surface d’appui ausol en plaçant, entre le plateau duvérin stabilisateur et la surface dusol, une plaque pour distribuercomme il faut la charge au sol.

Only authorised personnel may useand operate the crane.

Do not leave the control station withthe load raised or the machine inoperation.

Do not allow unauthorised personsto come within the crane’s operat-ing range.

Always stabilise the machine by run-ning out the stabiliser extensionsto their full extent and resting thestabiliser legs on the ground, with-out fully discharging the truck’ssuspension.

The crane must be stabilised on firmground.

When working on soft or yieldingground you must increase theload-bearing area by placing a sta-biliser support plate between thebase of the stabiliser leg and theground in order to distribute theload sufficiently.

Bij twijfel, raadpleeg de bedienings-handleiding.

Alleen bevoegd personeel is het toe-gestaan de kraan te gebruiken ente bedienen.

Verlaat de bedienplaats niet als delast geheven is of de machine nogin werking is.

Laat geen onbevoegde personentoe en houdt deze ook niet staan-de binnen het werkbereik van dekraan.

Stempel de machine altijd af, doorde afstempelverbreding geheel uitte schuiven en de steunpoten opde grond te plaatsen; zonder daar-bij het voertuig geheel uit de ve-ren te tillen.

De kraan dient op een stevige onder-grond afgestempeld te worden.

Bij het werken op slappe bodemdient u het steunpoot-oppervlak tevergroten door een stempelplaatonder de steunpoot te plaatsen omzo de bodemdruk te verlagen.

Rated capacity limiter

The purpose of the rated capacitylimiter is to protect the mechani-cal structure of the crane and/orsafeguard machine stability. Itdoes this by coming into operationwhen the load on the hook, in re-lation to the crane’s outreach, ex-ceeds the maximum capacity towhich the limiter has been set.

This type of rated capacity limiterconstantly analyses the crane con-figuration and the load hooked toit.

When the rated capacity limitercomes into operation and in rela-tion to the position of the 2nd boomto the horizontal, only the manoeu-vre controls are disabled as theywould cause the machine’s maxi-mum permitted capacity to be ex-ceeded.

The illustrations that follow show thecrane configurations and the ena-bled and disabled movements.

Lastmomentbegrenzer

Het doel van de lastmomentbegren-zer is de mechanische construc-tie van de kraan te beschermenen/of de stabiliteit van de machi-ne te bewaken. De lastmomentbe-grenzer komt in werking wanneerde last aan de haak, in verhoudingtot de gieklengte, de maximum in-gestelde capaciteit overschrijdt.

Emergency stop buttons

The machine is fitted, close to thecontrol levers, with two red emer-gency buttons located on the right-hand sideand on the RemoteControl Transmitter of the crane.

In the case of danger or an emergen-cy, the crane’s movements can beblocked immediately by pressingone of the two buttons.

When the emergency button ispressed, the oil in the power circuitis diverted to the return line by theactivation of a solenoid valve.

CAUTION:Before restoring normaloperating conditions, al-ways check that the situa-

tion which prompted the use of theemergency button no longer exists.

To restore normal operating condi-tions, turn the head of the buttonuntil the release is engaged and thebutton returns to its normal position.

It is forbidden to use the emergencybuttons to stop the machine undernormal conditions.

Boutons d’urgence

La machine est équipée, à proximitédes éléments de commande, dedeux boutons d’urgence rougesinstallés sur le tableau de bord ducôté droit et du RADIOCOMMANDE de la grue.

Pour rétablir les conditions normalesde fonctionnement, il suffit detourner la tête du bouton jusqu’audéclic pour qu’il retourne dans saposition normale.

Il est interdit d’utiliser les boutonsd’arrêt d’urgence pour l’arrêt normalde la machine.

Noodstopknoppen

Om het werk te hervatten, draai deknop zodat deze in de normalepositie terugkeert.

Stabiliser extension check bolts

The machine is equipped with twocheck bolts located at the ends ofthe base on the right and left sideof the crane.

The purpose of these bolts is to lockthe stabiliser extensions in theirfully closed or fully open position.

To release the stabiliser extensionand run it out, turn the lever to itshorizontal position, pull the exten-sion out several centimetres andreturn the lever to the vertical.

Run out the extension until the boltautomatically engages the hole,indicating that the extension is ful-ly open and locked in position

Slewing stop device

As a result of the crane-truck com-bination, the Installer may havereduced the crane’s slewing angle.

There are two alternative solutionspreventing the booms of the cranefrom being directed in positionsthat may prove critical for the sta-bility of the machine.

1st solution:Spacers are fitted inside the column

slewing cylinders to limit the maxi-mum slewing angle of the crane.

2nd solution:An electrical/mechanical device is

installed on the base which, whenactivated, disables all crane move-ments except for slewing. How-ever, slewing is only possible in theopposite direction to the one whichactivated the device.

The term “residual risk” signifies thatelement of risk which it was notpossible to eliminate at the designstage and which is not protectedby the safety devices. “Risk area”refers to any potentially hazardouspoint inside or close to the machi-ne or the crane’s operating range.

The following may be sources ofrisk:

The incorrect positioning of the ma-chine in its work configuration whe-re this does not offer an easy esca-pe route for the operator.

Electrocution due to contact withoverhead power lines or lightning.

Asphyxiation due to protracted pro-ximity to the vehicle’s exhaustpipe.

Incorrect clamping (in work or restposition) of the rotating stabiliserleg.

The stabiliser leg might not remainin its “locked” position as a resultof leaks in the cylinder or the cock,thereby threatening the stability ofthe machine. Therefore, youshould periodically check that it isfunctioning correctly.

The profile of the crane for road cir-culation resulting from incorrectrest configuration is not signalledby any device.

The rated capacity limiter has an auto-test feature. Nevertheless, checkthat it is working efficiently prior toeach lifting cycle.

Incorrect manoeuvres, for example:- wrong stabilization- wrong sling- wrong manoeuvres- etc.

L’encombrement latéral de la grue(position pour la circulation sur rou-te), compte tenue de la mauvaiseposition de repos, n’est enregistrépar aucun dispositif.

Le limiteur de moment est équippéd’un dispositif de contrôl de soncorrecte fonctionnement. Toutefois,on conseil de verifier le bonfoctionnement avant chaqueopération.

Manœuvres erronées de l’opérateur :- Stabilisation erronée- Charge élinguée erronément- Manutention erronée- etc.

De term “resterend risico” houdtdat deel van het risico in, dat nietmogelijk was uit te sluiten in deontwerpfase en niet beschermdwordt door de veiligheidsvoorzie-ningen. “Risico gebied” verwijstnaar elke mogelijk gevaarlijkeplaats op of bij de machine of bin-nen het werkgebied van de kraan.

De volgende situaties kunnen eenrisico met zich meebrengen:

Het onjuist opstellen van de machi-ne voor het werk waarbij er geenvluchtweg voor de bedieningsmanmeer is.

Electrocutie ten gevolge van contactmet electriciteitskabels of blikse-minslag.

Benauwdheid ten gevolge van lan-gdurige aanwezigheid in de buurtvan de uitlaat van het voertuig.

Verkeerde vergrendeling (in werk- oftransportpositie) van de draaiba-re steunpoot.

De steunpoot zou als gevolg vanlekkage in de cilinder of pootkraanuit zijn geblokkeerde positie kun-nen komen, daarbij de stabiliteitvan de machine in gevaar bren-gend. U dient het goed functione-ren van de steunpoten dan ookregelmatig te controleren.

Er is geen voorziening aanwezig diehet in verkeerde stand opvouwenvan de kraan voor transport aan-geeft.

De lastmoment beveiliging heefteen automatische test funktie,controleer desondanks de werkingvoor iedere laad/los beweging.

Uitvoering van verkeerde manoeuvresdoor de bestuurder, bijv.:

- verkeerde stabilisering- verkeerde bevestiging van de last- verkeerde verplaatsingen- enz.

For each of the 4 stabilising points,the operations to be carried outcan be divided into the followingphases:

1) Disabling the stabiliser extensionlock devices (fig. A).

2) Push the tap lever Dev (see E.03)to choose the type of movementand act on the distributor leverto obtain the desidered move-ment

3) Short extension of the stabiliserextensions.

4) Enabling the stabiliser extensionlock device (fig. B).

5) Full extension of the stabiliserextensions.

6) Stabiliser leg extension.

7) Stabilising the crane.

ATTENTION:Il faut toujours agir sur lescommandes installées surle même côté où l’on doit

Always stabilise the machine by run-ning out the stabiliser extensionsto their full extent and resting thestabiliser legs on the ground,without fully discharging the truck’ssuspension.

CAUTION:The truck wheels mustalways be in contact withthe ground.

Using the spirit level indicator loca-ted close to the right or left sidecontrol station, check that the cra-ne is level to within a tolerance of3°.

When the stabilising ope-rations are over, turn theselctor lever DEV to thepos. 1 to hydraulically lock

the stabiliser legs.

Il faut toujours installer la machineen sortant complètement les tigesde stabilisation et en reposant lesvérins stabilisateurs au sol, sansdécharger complètement les su-spensions du camion.

ATTENTION:Les roues du camion doi-vent toujours toucher lesol.

CRANE OPENING

1) Close secondary boom comple-tely.

2) Lift main boom, articulate andraise above horizontal level (fig.7).

3) Articulate secondary boom toopen (fig. 8).

4) Rotate crane and extend the te-lescopic elements until the hookis vertical to the load (fig. 9).

CRANE CLOSING

To bring the crane back to rest posi-tion, invert the above mentionedoperations, making sure the refe-rence arrows on the slewing base,correspond to those on the colu-mn (fig.10).

If necessary extend the telescopicelements again and retract theminto their proper shape.

Rectract stabilizers and beams.Then turn the diverter valve lever to

the 0 position.

Checking the power circuit joints

Check the whole of the power cir-cuit.

There must be no signs of oil leak-age or loss.

Checking the oil level

Check the amount of oil in the tank.

The oil level must not be above orbelow the maximum/minimummarks.

Checking the speed of movements

Use a stopwatch to time the variousmovements, without any load onthe hook, from their start positionto their end position.

Master switch

With the master switch off, try to per-form a movement.

The movement must be inhibited.

Emergency stop buttons

With the crane in its work configura-tion but with no load on the hook,press one of the two emergencybuttons while performing a move-ment.

The crane must be blocked.

Alle werkzaamheden op de volgen-de bladen die met het teken (*) ge-markeerd zijn dienen bij een er-kende garage of door uw installa-teur uitgevoerd te worden.

Onderhoudswerkzaamheden mo-gen alleen bij stilstaande motor enmet de sleutelbediende-schake-laar in stand “uit” uigevoerd wor-den.

Alvorens werkzaamheden aan hethydraulisch systeem uit te voeren,moet eerst het systeem drukloosgemaakt worden door (met uitge-schakelde voertuigmotor) alle be-dieningshandles in beide richtin-gen te bewegen.

Zorg ervoor dat alle handles, opstap-pen en voetplaten vrij zijn van olie,vet en vuil om wegglijden en val-len te voorkomen.

Bescherm, bij het wassen van demachine, de electrische compo-nenten en verbindingen; omdat hetgebruik van een hogedrukstraalschade kan veroorzaken aan hetelectrisch-systeem.

Alle kraandelen zijn gelakt of heb-ben een oppervlakte behandelingondergaan om ze tegen weersin-vloeden te beschermen. Deson-danks raden wij u aan deze be-scherming regelmatig te controle-ren en waar nodig bij te werken.

Controleer na onderhoud c.q. repa-ratie of er zich geen gereedschap,lappen of ander materiaal in debuurt van draaiende delen bevindt,voordat u de machine start.

Toutes les opérations, celles effec-tuées par l’opérateur comme cel-les réalisées par un atelier autori-sé, devront être enregistrées surles pages des coupons de contrô-le à cet effet.

Il faut obligatoirement effectuer lesopérations d’entretien avec le mo-teur du camion arrêté, et l’interrup-teur à clé désactivé.

Avant d’effectuer des interventionssur les lignes sous pression, il fautdépressuriser en actionnant dansles deux sens (avec le moteur ducamion arrêté) tous les leviers decommande de la grue.

Il faut toujours faire attention à nepas mettre d’huile, de graisse etde saleté sur les poignées, plates-formes de montée et de service dela machine, afin d’éviter de glisserou de tomber.

Lorsqu’on lave la machine, il fautprotéger comme il ce doit les com-posants et/ou les connexions élec-triques, car des jets directs et souspression sur ces derniers peuventles endommager.

Tous les composants de la grue sontprotégés des agents atmosphéri-ques par une peinture ou des trai-tements tennifer (anti-corrosion).Toutefois il est conseillé de con-trôler périodiquement que ces trai-tements sont en parfait état. Le caséchéant, refaire le traitement.

A la fin des entretiens ou des répa-rations, avant de faire démarrer lamachine, il faut contrôler qu’il nereste aucun outil, chiffon ou autreobjet à proximité des organes enmouvement.

You must scrape off the old greasewith a plastic knife before spread-ing a new layer.

Use a brush to spread a layer ofgrease over the entire surface ofthe boom extensions.

To lubricate the inside of the exten-sions, use a brush fastened to astick of at least the same lengthas the open extensions.

Wait until all the oil has drained out.

Remove the magnetic plug “TM” andremove any metal waste attachingto it.

Replace the plug and tighten it se-curely.

Undo the filter cover.

Remove the retaining spring locatedinside the filter body.

Extract the filter and replace it withone that has the same filtrationmesh (µ 30).

Clean the air breather filter with anitrate-based solvent.

Grease and check the position of theseal between cover and filter body.

Replace the retaining spring and re-fit the filter cover.

WAARSCHUWING:Neem passende maatre-gelen om het risico van

verbranding door hete olie te voor-komen.

Verwijder het filterdeksel.

Verwijder de borgveer in het filter-huis.

Verwijder de filterpatroon en plaatseen nieuwe met de zelfde specifi-caties (µ 30).

Reinig het beluchtingsfilter met eenoplosmiddel op nitraatbasis.

Smeer en controleer de positie vande afdichting tussen deksel enfilterhuis.

Plaats de borgveer terug en zet hetfilterdeksel vast.

A l’intervalle fixé, et lorsque l’indica-teur d’huile en signale le colma-tage, il faut remplacer la cartou-che filtrante.

ATTENTION:Prendre toutes les précau-tions nécessaires pouréviter des brûlures avec

l’huile chaude.

Dévisser le couvercle du filtre.

Retirer le ressort de retenue, placédans le corps du filtre.

Retirer le filtre et le remplacer parun ayant le même filtrage (µ 30).

Nettoyer avec du solvant, à base denitre, la cartouche de l’évent d’air.

Huiler et contrôler la position du jointd’étanchéité entre le couvercle etle corps du filtre.

Remonter le ressort de retenue, puisfermer le couvercle du filtre.

Excessive wear on the pads maycause the rubbing together of met-al parts, the non-sequential open-ing of the boom extensions and/orexcessive play leading to misalign-ment between the various exten-sions.

De onderdelen van de hijskraan dieonderhevig zijn aan vrijving, zijn vanregisters voorzien voor het herstel-len van eventuele spelingen ver-oorzaakt door slijtage.

De registers (A) aandraaien, na deschroeven (B) of de klemmoeren(C) losgedraaid te hebben.

LET OP:De registers niet te veraandraaien om een over-bodige vrijving te voorko-

men.

Loosen the set screws (B) or the locknuts (C), then tighten the adjust-ment devices (A).

DémontageDisassemblyDemontage

You must contact an authorised orspecialised workshop to disassem-ble the crane from the vehicle onwhich it is installed.

At the end of its working life or forother reasons, it may be necessaryto disassemble the crane.

Prepare a site suitable fordisassembly and a lifting device ofsufficient capacity. Consult the“Crane packing and handling”section for the weights of the variouscrane models.

After positioning the truck andapplying the parking brake, fold thecrane into its transportconfiguration.

Detach the electrical connectionsfrom the truck’s electrical system.

Remove the elements anchoring thecrane to the subframe.

Disconnect the hydraulic connectionsto pump and tank. Beware ofescaping oil.

Lift the crane by means of theattachment located on the top ofthe first boom and place it in astable position on the ground.

Remove pump, PTO and cardan shaftand replace the original covers onthe vehicle’s gearbox take-off.

Dispose of the various materialscomprising the crane in accordancewith prevailing environmentprotection regulations. All materials,and especially plastics, batteries,hydraulic oil and rubber hoses mustbe disposed of properly and safelyto protect the environment.

Pour démonter la grue du véhicule oùelle est installée, il faut s'adresserà un atelier autorisé ou spécialisé.

Lorsque la grue n’est plus utilisableou pour d’autres raisons, il peuts’avérer nécessaire de procéder àson démontage.

Prévoir un espace adapté à cetteopération de démontage ainsi qu’unappareil de soulèvement decapacité suffisante (voir auparagraphe “Emballage etmovimentation de la grue” lespoids des différents modèles degrue).

Après avoir positionné le véhicule,avec le frein à main enclenché,replier la grue en configuration detransport.

Retirer les connexions électriques ducircuit du véhicule.

Démonter les fixations de la grue aucontre-châssis.

Retirer les raccordementshydrauliques de la pompe et duréservoir en faisant attention àl’écoulement d’huile.

Soulever la grue au moyen dudispositif présent en haut du 1° braset la déposer sur le sol en positionde stabilité.

Démonter la pompe, la prise de forceet le cardan et remettre en placeles couvercles d’origine sur le pointde connexions de la boîte de vitessedu véhicule.

Procéder à la mise au rebut desdifférents matériaux composant lagrue en fonction de leur nature etdes dispositions en vigueur, enévitant d’abandonner dansl’environnement tout type dematériau, en particulier lesmatériaux plastiques, les batteries,l’huile et les tuyaux de caoutchouc.

Aan het einde van de levensduur ofom andere redenen kan de kraanontmanteld moeten worden.

Er moet een geschikte plaats voor hetontmantelen gezocht worden en ermoet voor een hijswerktuig gezorgdworden waarvan het draagvermogenvoldoende is, zie voor wat betreft hetgewicht van de diversekraanmodellen de paragraaf“Verpakking en verplaatsing vande kraan“.Nadat de wagen geparkeerd is en dehandrem aangetrokken is moet dehijskraan ingeschoven worden en inde transportstand gezet worden.

De elektrische aansluitingen op deinstallatie van de wagen moetenverwijderd worden.

De bevestigingen van de kraan aanhet chassis moeten verwijderdworden.De elektrische aansluitingen op depomp en de tank moeten verwijderdworden waarbij er opgepast moetworden voor de olie die er eventueeluit stroomt.De kraan moet door middel van despeciale bevestiging aan debovenkant van de 1e giek opgehesenworden en daarna stabiel op de grondgezet worden.De pomp, de krachtbron en decardanas moeten verwijderd wordenen de oorspronkelijke kappen moetenweer op de betreffende aansluitingenvan de vrachtwagen teruggeplaatstworden.Alle gedemonteerde materialen, metinbegrip van de kraan, moeten inovereenstemming met de algemenevoorschriften ter bescherming tegenomgevingsinvloeden opgeborgenworden. Alle onderdelen en dat geldtmet name voor de onderdelen vankunststof, de accu’s, de hydraulischeolie en de rubber slangen moetennaar behoren en op een veilige manieropgeslagen worden om ze tegenomgevingsinvloeden te beschermen.
